At first it was fine but the more i used it the more i noticed how it slowed the programs I run off of it. Its fine if you are gonna use it with a Hard Drive. I am using it with an SSD and will be returning it when i get a better one in the mail from somewhere else for cheaper. The enclosure is fine but it cant keep up with what i want to use it for.

We appreciate the time you took to review our Hard Drive Enclosure. I am sorry to read this enclosure is not keeping up with your purpose. In fact, it is not recommended to run programs from external drives, this is something that will happen with most of the enclosures on the market.

If your computer has a USB3.0, this enclosure is really a time-saver. The old hard drive found a home in there and it's a MUCH better option than just using a bare cable to make a transfer (static, bumps and drops, etc). It also came with a mini screwdriver. I thought it was a nice touch. My only complaint is that the price is a little high.
