It works and does what it says. I use it to read pulled laptop hdd’s. It’s nothing fancy and you can find one online a lot cheaper than you will at retail. I bought it a BB because I needed one that day but I would never pay this price again. It’s just a USB to SATA adapter with a hollow plastic shell. 10 bucks online tops.

It lacks both feet or a stand and so it slides easily off of surfaces. I have had issues with the device disconnecting while I'm using it. I often receive a message from Windows 10 that the last USB device I plugged in was not recognized. I receive the message at boot time even though the device was still connected from my last startup.
