Our laptop was dropped, the screen stayed black, and I wanted to get our photos off & when I was told about this, I tried it. It was the cheapest, easiest way to do that.

It was easy to slide the "old" drive in this enclosure and access my old drive. Note, if you use windows 8 and the drive you use this for was your original OS drive, you may need to change the permissions on your old drive to copy files over to your new drive

Now I don't have to worry about loosing my files if an external hard drive got messed up, because it is solid state. Works awesome!!!

Made my old internal HDD useful again

I was able to turn my old internal HDD into a decent external HDD after upgrading the computer to a SSD. The use justifies the price but at first it seemed to cost too much but the usefulness of this case pays for itself.
