Oven Burns Itself Up

Waited 3 weeks just for the in home agent to tell me that he couldnt get the part in. If you are in the market for a self grenading range oven, then you are in the right place. Most of my other Insignia appliances are fine besides this range. Avoid this.

Front burner doesnt work. Customer service has been a joke. Less than 3 months joke. The “technicians” have no showed. Never again

No exaggeration, it took the oven an hour and a half to come to 425. Additionally, it took over 35 minutes to brown a pound of ground round for sloppy Joe. The unit appears to be brand new but... It's absolutely the worst.

Posted .Please double check the 240V electrical wiring on the back of the range and your home outlet. Ensure that Line/Hot/Neutral wires are connected in the correct order. If the order is not correct, the oven and burners will receive half the required voltage causing longer heating times and lower performance. Refer to owner's manual for proper connection of the AC wires.

The best part is that the Range is Glasstop makes it easy to clean, and the Steam Cleaning feature is yet to be used. But we've had it for about 3 months.

Based on appearance, it looks very good for the price point. At its price, it included "true convection", that is it has a heating element in the convection circulating fab component.

The last purchase ( this one) was 18 months ago. All have worked without problem except the last one. Coincidentally the last was $350.00 more than they had been. In 18 months the main burner and stove are no longer working. I have to wonder if Insignia changed manufacturers from the original purchase to this one. Nearly $1,000.00 for 18 months is not acceptable. If this had been the first Insignia stove purchase I’d give 1 star but combined with previous purchases I’m thinking they changed the maker?

Freestanding Electric Convection Range with Steam Cleaning - Stainless Steel for 1 yr. & 7 months, and there is an electric short. The oven takes a very long time to heat. I'm putting this stove on the curb for trash which it is! Not the stove to buy.
