    OK no-frills TV, but for a few bucks more...

    I bought this TV to mount on the wall in from of our treadmill, so a no-frills TV was just what we needed, as we connected an Apple TV as a streaming source. The TV had decent 1080P picture and OK sound for $199. To be critical, I felt the edge sharpening was a bit over-done, showing artifacts. This particular TV did have a small defect in the lower edge of the display that prompted a return. When I got to the store to return the TV, I decided to step up and purchase a Black Friday 4K Samsung and wow am I glad I did. I could have given this TV a 1 star because of the defect, but I have another Insigna that I love so I still think all things considered 2+ stars is fair. Do the math: Together with a third party streaming device, I realized the value just cannot compare to the most current 4K sets. I spent $77 more on the same size TV that was 4K and smart, Factoring the added cost of a streaming stick, I would recommend against this TV in favor of the newer technology. Better picture and smart tech built-in = no brainer

    Wireless Connectivity Issues

    It worked well for the 1st 8 months. Then it wouldn't connect o WiFi. I was still under warranty so Geek Squad did something and made it work. As I type this, it is doing the same thing 4 months later. I had to break out the ethernet cable and its not ideal. Now I have to go back again, and spend at least an hour of my time, for the second time to hopefully get it "fixed".

    The overall picture quality is very good so far. I've also been happy with the quantity of outputs (3 hdmi). BUT, there is an issue where the TV doesn't always turn on/off properly. This happens with the remote as well as directly on the tv itself. Needless to say, this is extremely annoying after an extended amount of time.

    Bought this TV knowing that it was not the top-of-the-line. It’s was cheap, but I got what I paid for it. Picture quality isn’t great with high definition signal. brightness is lacking and remote control is cheap. Tried my best with back light and color settings to make the picture brighter didn’t help much.

    I needed to replace my old TV for my reck room. I purchase this television knowing it would be such up grade. I must have picked a bad apple. From the group. Color was in and out. Not a good TV. Not saying brand is bad but my TV was a bad one.

    Now the screen goes black while on and have to turn it iff then back on. Not impressed nor can I recommend. Everytine the tv is turned on for a split second the sound is very loud then back to normal.

    At the beginning was good and working but in less than a year, it started showing a white spot on the tv. We didn’t drop it or damage it somehow. Bestbuy inspected and found it was manufacturing problem.

    I had to return this tv. I would fall asleep with the tv on and when I wake up I could hear the sound but not see anything. I would have to go through each HDMI input and then the screen would pop back up.

    I got those tv may and went to clean the screen and the stupid thing thing cracked I do not recommend this product it’s way to fragile the screen is like flimsy almost

    Received my tv .. one of the hdmi ports didn’t work.. but the other 2 hdmi ports worked .. has a nice picture .. need to return it and get a different one.
