It works for what is meant, and help save battery on the XBOX controller since it drains to fast to when watching movies or TV. this helps save the controller for gaming.

It works perfect. I docked one star as it doesn't have RF in it. It works on IR, which means you need to point the controller at the Xbox One for it to see the signal.

I bought this remote for around $5 I believe and it is very functional. I like it a lot since I can use it to control my xbox for netflix and fxnow without needing a controller anymore. Only negative is that you must point the remote at the front of the xbox to work, I believe it is infrared. Overall good product, just sometimes you have to adjust where you are pointing for it to work properly.

Very functional. My only beef with it is that isn't very responsive. I usually have to hit the buttons a few times to get them to work. Great price, though.

Needed a remote for my xbox 1 pick this up because it was 15$ cheaper then the Microsoft one. It works just as good. Keep the extra cash and pick this one up!

We don't have the satellite hooked up through the Xbox one, so this is a little useless for us, but works great. Just not needed for this house.

It works great for ease rather than using the Xbox controller, but no keyboard for entering things into the search.

This is pretty essential for those that have their Xbox hooked up to their entertainment devices and does not currently have a universal remote. It iis so much easier to manuever than to have to use an xbox controller to navigate around. Does everything the official xbox remote does.

If you really want to maximize what your Xbox One can do, then definitely get this media remote. I don't just play games on my console, I watch YouTube videos, stream movies online, access content, etc. I found this remote much easier to navigate with than the game controller.

I have a remote for my 360, I had to get one for the 1, controller turns off while watching video, much easier to use.

I kept talking myself out of buying a remote because I was always using the Smart Glass app and felt a remote was unnecessary. I'm really glad I got it. No need to wait for the app to load or start up a controller just to pause a show now. I like that it is thin and long versus the official one that is shorter. I guess you get used to anything, but this just fits in with my other remote. The only con I can think of is that it uses infrared, but so does the official one.

i needed a remote for when i watch movies on my xbox one and decided to give this one a try,at 5 bucks on sale you cant go wrong,works very well the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that u have to be pointing the remote at the xbox in order for it to work other than that i like it

Love watching Netflix, Hulu, HBO go, starz, showtime, etc. on my Xbox one so this was the perfect buy. Does everything I need it to do without wasting my batteries in my xbox one controller

The remote does was it is supposed to do. Best buy sells some good prodect under their brand.

As usual, the Insignia product is just as good, if not better, than the official or brand name product. In this case, it's also quite a bit cheaper. I prefer this controller due to the physical buttons and sturdiness. Highly recommended!

No need to spend the $ on the OEM remote, this one does it all for a fraction of the price.

A must if you use the Xbox as your gateway to your living room. If you use your Xbox as a Blu-ray player hen you should get this remote. It's just as nice as the Official Xbox remote but less expensive. I completely recommend.
