This remote is very good for controlling the XBOX One as opposed to the game controller when watching movies. It's also $10 cheaper that the XBOX brand controller!

Purchased as an open box for the discount. Came with no instructions, but paired easily with XBOX One. Not sure what some of the buttons do, and can't seem to find any instructions online, but whatever. I use it for basic Blu-ray/DVD control.

I really like this device. makes using video and tv so much better on the xbox one. the really cool part is that it was 30% less then the Microsoft version.

Buttons are a lot easier to use being that the remote fits my hand better than the Microsoft does. Recommend to anyone who uses media on you're Xbox one.

This remote works great as a means to navigate the X-Box One menus quicker and more succinctly than using a standard game controller. It allows the total X-Box One experience to move beyond games and into the multitude of media offerings these units can execute. It makes me want to explore the functionality and capabilities of the X-Box One more now than before when it was a chore to use the game controller to move around the menus.

Needed a regular "remote" to work my Xbox One instead of using the controller; Toggling the buttons became too time-consuming, this works MUCH better

It's missing a few crucial buttons here and there and you have to point it directly at the xbox receiver for it to work but for $10 I can't complain

This remote works fine, it's a excellent replacement for the original one from Microsoft. cheaper too

My only complaint with this controller is that there is no back lighting on the keys. Seems like a standard request. Also, it would be awesome if all the Xbox remote services had mics built in so I wouldn't have to scream at my Kinect.

This controller was great for my parents to use when they wanted to watch movies on the xbox one.
