This device is. must with these newer computers. Without it you cannot achieve full power of the internet at times. When there is. weak signal in the house you definitely need one of these.

Easy connection for ethernet, no more struggling to make a quick secure connection at home and office

I needed a secure connection for my Chromebook and this did the trick. Always great when I can connect direct to my internet router.

As most laptops don't come with a LAN port, this became necessary for my work to interface with the newest laptops we are getting. Just plugged it in and it worked right away. Windows loaded the drivers automatically.

Daughter's laptop had an issue with the WIFI Adapter. It needed a driver update, the only way was to plug into the router. Found out I didn't do my reasearch and the laptop didn't come with an ethernet port, (GO ASUS). Next step, buy this little guy. Did the trick, driver downloaded and installed. Worked as intended. Not much use since but it could come in handy later on.

Bought a nice Dell Laptop from Best Buy that is wireless only for internet connection. Wanted to use wired internet as well. This inexpensive Insignia - USB3 to Ethernet Adapter made that possible.

Some weird chromebook issue would not let me connect to wireless router while we were on the road. This little sweet adapter provided perfect solution to get us connected using the RJ45 connector to usb. Totally recommend

New Dell computer. Had to get ethernet adapter. Adapter fits, and works. Thanks. Now if computer had another port for my printer, it would be nice.

Very beneficial in converting my Cat5 cable to USB. The laptop I have does not have a Ethernet port, so this adapter was my resolution to that problem. Working from home, I have to connect via hard wire. This was a lifesaver!

Plug n Play. Connect ethernet wire and connect to computer. It takes a few seconds for connection to be established. But once it's connected, it's good.

Needed a way to hook up to an RJ45 connector with a laptop with no Ethernet connector and this fits the bill using a USB port. Depending on the USB speed, you can get download speeds of over 200mps.

Using Linuxmint 20 there's not to many adapters that work it took me less than 1 minute to get it working ,well built no drivers to install I purchase 2 to use my ethernet instead of wifi much faster and secure.love it.

Bought this to connect my Nintendo Switch to my home's wired network. Works great. Avoids dropouts or weak signals caused by using a WiFi network connection - I much prefer this wired network connection.

New laptop did not have ethernet port. This adapter worked great. Had to use ethernet connection to transfer files from old laptop. Was glad Best Buy had one available at a reasonable price.

I was reluctant to buy a lap top that didn't have an ethernet port but the adapter works great. Just make sure you buy an adapter that is capable of 1MM speed.
