I’m a video DJ, so content is everything. Now that we’re operating in the Covid era, we’re doing events at non-traditional locations that aren’t AV equipped. This Wireless HDMI Sender/Receiver Kit was just what we needed to continue broadcasting quality content, without the need to run additional cabling. There is a .25 second digital delay, that’s easily adjusted in our software. Most guests wouldn’t notice, but we notice everything. Thanks Best Buy!

This IOGEAR - Wireless HDMI TV Connection Kit is fantastic. We had through the wall HDMI cable for our Den TV and the connection broke and there was no way to fish a new wire through the wall. Best Buy geek squad suggested the IOGEAR - Wireless HDMI TV Connection Kit - Black and it is fantastic and was no very expensive. Very happy!!

We have two of these: 1. Sends HDMI full HD audio and video signal to a projector 35+ feet away. There are no obstructions between them and it works solidly with great signal quality. 2. Sends full HD audio and video signal to a wall-mounted TV in another room 25 feet away. There are doors/walls between them. It works well for the initial connection, but sporadically drops the connection. I recommend this for open line-of-sight use, but not if you have any walls, doors, or other obstructions between the units.

Great product, buying 2 more for the office

I bought this for our office to avoid having to go under the concrete floor, or drag a 25' hdmi cable across conference tables. It transmits hdmi audio and video with ease and has very, very minimal points in which lag is experienced. Definitely does the job, and I'll be buying 2 more to avoid cable mess in other conference rooms. The only somewhat negative aspects are the price (could be cheaper for it being a simple device) and it will not work well when transmitting audio during audioconferencing (Skype, WebEx, et al), unless the display you're connecting to is proven to be echo cancelling.

The transmitters signal is at 5G. Which is same on ISP wireless router, 2.4&5G. My wireless laptop is only able to see 2.4g due to competing signals. At first I did not notice until I bought second Wireless HDMI setup. only later I learned, depending on who talk to, they can interfere with each other. I learned if I get meesage "waiting for signal", I unplug receiver power supply for 10-20 seconds fixes it. Its still nicer than seeing wires hanging down. Tech told me to see if moving ISP router further away from transmitter will work. Havent done that yet

I bought this to put in my RV so I wouldn't have to run more cables from the front to the back. I plugged it into my Dish Network receiver in the front of the RV and then put the receiver in the back of the RV plugged into the TV. This is about a 20 Ft run but through a few wooden walls and a refrigerator. This didn't work so well. It kept reconnecting or was super choppy. I then decided to move the receiver to the outside TV, which is about 10 Ft. from Dish box and it works great there. We watched the Lakers lose last night and the only thing that worked poorly was the Lakers. Box worked great when that close and only going a few pieces of wood and a microwave.

I got a project on the whim and didn't have any long HDMI cable at the moment. I decided to give the wireless HDMI a try to see how well it worked. To my surprise, it worked really well. The biggest concern was a lag in audio, but I didn't notice any problem and the video/audio quality was great. I did notice that a few frames would get dropped creating an ever slight choppiness time to time. You really have to pay attention to notice it. Not sure if this is the result of buffering with wireless signals. Ultimately I only had this device for a week before I switched over to a 30' long HDMI cable. I think this is a great device if you can't get HDMI wires far enough to your transmitter and receiver.

I almost paid someone to run a cable connection to our TV. This would have cost a lot more and would have put holes in our walls. I first tried the Actiontec wireless transmitter and it didn't work at all. This was the only other brand that BestBuy has in the store and it cost less. So I gave it a try. I am so happy I did. 99% of the time the picture and sound is as good as a wired connection. 1% if the time the picture may freeze for a few seconds. It's easy to set up. I highly recommend this.

I purchased this device for use at our church to be able to send images from a computer in our tech booth to a TV monitor on a rolling cart that would be in a variety of different places in our sanctuary. Hard-wiring the HDMI connection would have been impossible based on the usage we needed. It was so easy to configure the transmitter and receiver. The devices are about 150 ft apart in our space and it works flawlessly. We have other devices, such as IR remotes, etc., in this space and it does not interfere whatsoever.

I am using the on a cable system. I had no issues setting up and using the IOGear HDMI. However, It does help to also get an HDMI splitter so that you can get the feed split to the Tv and IOGear HDMI. I have a second 32’ tv connected to the IOGear HDMI which we use on the outside back porch or in our office-works as advertised. Note: Must remember it is only a duplicate of the tv that it is a slave from. You do not have have separate tuning capabilities.

I set the units up in accordance with the enclosed instructions and although the units are approximately 25 feet apart, they some times lose sync. Both antennas are within line of sight, but if someone stand between them the signal is lost. I don't think they would operate at the 150 foot range they are supposed to be able to operate at. An other problem is the heat they generate. I measured the temp of the case on each unit and it was 135 degrees F. I remove the power cord from each unit at night and if we leave the house for an extended period,

I purchased this product because I decided to mount my TV near the stairs instead of where the previous owners wired the surround sound. The problem was, I didn’t want to run an HDMI cable across my ceiling nor my floor since it would be crossing a common walkway. By connecting one to my surround sound and one to my tv, I was able to plug my fire stick directly into the surround sound and shoot the video straight to the tv! Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because every now and then (not every day) the receiver and transmitter loose connection. That causes me to have sound, but no picture for like a minute or two until they reconnect themselves.

    LED Dimmer Packs Affect these!

I love this device it is the second that I had purchased. They work very well in environments where it can be transmitted through open space or a shortened distance through a single wall (approximately 34 feet max. through standard drywall 5 in wall). However, larger light controller/dimmer packs for small venues, cause a lot of interference, so be warned! I found out later that shielding the side of the transmitter that was facing the dimmer pack ( I used the back of a metal amp rack case) seems to eliminate the problem.
