Customers recognize the Wireless Mobile and PC to HDTV Screen Sharing Receiver as being easy to use and offering good video quality, with many praising its 1080p resolution and wireless capabilities for screen sharing. However, some users experienced issues with compatibility, particularly with Apple devices, and reported connection problems and occasional lag. The setup process was generally considered straightforward. Despite some connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on ease of use and picture quality is noteworthy.

This thing has worked great up till now the movie on the tv will stop working but the tablet will keep playing the movie so you have to stop playing the movie and reset the unit back up. The unit is almost a year old. The manufacture said it is old technologies.

I used the IOGEAR wireless receiver with a 17” Alienware laptop running Windows 10.
Overall: I would recommend this product due to easy setup, fairly low latency, though not enough to use your tv as a primary gaming monitor, and high quality of video streamed.
Setup — Pro: No setup required
I plugged in the receiver to my tv and power, then pressed Windows+P keys on my laptop, and the receiver showed up in the list of displays to project to. I didn’t have to install any software or connect the receiver to my network in any way. It more or less just worked.
Audio — Pro*: On my first setup, I couldn’t get sound to play through the receiver, but when I tried again the next day, prepared to call IOGEAR tech support, audio worked without issue. I had toggled audio sources initially, but maybe a restart of my laptop is what did the trick. No issues since the first setup.
Latency — Mixed (mostly Pro): The IOGEAR receiver works directly between your device and the receiver, without going through your network, according to the documentation. This lead to less latency than I’ve experienced with other devices, for instance streaming to Steam Link or Oculus to Chromecast. That said, the latency was great enough that I couldn’t enjoy playing a game while watching the mirrored display. I was able to successfully use it to allow my wife to watch a game mirrored to the tv as I played on my laptop screen.
Overall, I’m happy with the product and recommend using for any fairly static content, or to mirror something you’re watching on your primary display for someone else to see. I wouldn’t recommend this as a means of playing a game on a larger display.

I am sorry to write this negative review. I normally support smaller businesses and like to encourage companies to compete with Google and Apple. I had to return this item after 1 day. I lost confidence immediately after I starting using it. Its connection with Windows 10 is cut after 1 hour. I am using it to watch movies so maybe it is not meant for that.
I did not find an option to connect or disconnect using an app. I have to go to Bluetooth options and find the device then connect. That was not very user friendly approach, but maybe there is a better way that I do not know.
