Load 4 slides at a time. Screen is too small to really tell if slide is reversed or not. Easy to save and transfer to computer.

I had read several reviews online about this scanner - quite a few saying they were disappointed with the picture quality output. I, for one, disagree. I was pleasantly surprised, considering the clarity and quality of a slide that is 75 years old. One thing I found was if you get any dust or debris on the scanner lens, it's difficult to clean it off. Other than that I was satisfied.

I bought it specifically for transferring my old slides to the computer which it does reasonably well not perfect but usable and can now get to them easily. Can do negatives from old pictures as well and then view and print from the computer. The picture scan does not work very well although that is not what I purchased it for. The scans come out off color and not as sharp and you would be better of with a standard scanner or use negative from the picture if you have it. Is a bit of a process as only does 4 slides at a time.

This product was very easy to use and allowed me to scan in 10 years worth of negatives in just a few hours. The photo scanning feature isn't terrific, but my printer has a scanner, so I don't rely on this product for that service. I am very pleased with the quality, and the money that I saved by doing this myself.

Glad I purchased this item. Was easy to use on old slides. The Bility to change or enhance colors was easy. Would have cost me $600 to do the sides I had. Also allows you to transfer negatives and pictures!

The scanner is a quick and easy way to preserve old photographs on a digital card for years of storage. It could have a little better clarity and adjustment;however, overall not a bad design.

I ran some comparisons and discovered that the quality of the negatives scanned far exceeded the quality of the same image's photo scan (expected). I also compared the photo scan with a photo scan using my normal desktop scanner at a similar setting, and my normal scanner did a TON better. So I will be using this machine only for scanning negatives in the future and I'll use my normal scanner to do my photos. At the highest resolution (10M), the scanned photos were still a bit blurry, washed out, and even cloudy in a few spots. I don't know what was causing the cloudy element - that definitely didn't occur on the normal scanner. Also, I did have to repeat scans of the negatives a number of times to knock off dust or align a bit straighter (it would sometimes catch an edge slightly off that I just wanted perfected). I had one set of negatives that I scanned on the same feed that had a squiggle mark in the same spot on all of them, so I'm guessing that some foreign material was interfering with the image capture but it wasn't attached to the film itself. I was able to refeed this panel and knock it clear; however, it occurred to me that if I hadn't been transferring these images to my computer at that time, I wouldn't have caught the problem - I couldn't see it on the image display on the machine. So, conclusion there is that I wouldn't recommend using this scanner to run a bunch of images on an SD card to transfer to the computer later - I would recommend approving them as you process them in small batches or one by one.

Old scanning system took forever to get pictures digitized. This product was able to convert over a hundred photos in just a short time. A great time-saver, and the quality is very good!

Easy to use. Be sure to get a high capacity SD Card to go with it. The card that comes with the unit doesn't hold much.

It seems to be kind cheaply made. Hasn't got a lot of weight to it. I haven't had the chance to use it yet. Waiting to get Slides from my mother. HOpe to be able to use it in the next couple weeks. The concept is great if it works the way it is advertised.

easy to use, can use without it being hooked up to a computer which is a plus. The only drawback is the color correction is best done in software on your computer rather than on the device
