I was hesitant at first but so glad i made the purchase. It is so helpful with 2 dogs. I love that I can pick and choose the rooms I want to clean.

With two dogs and their paw prints (from the dirt outside) all over my floors, the floors never get cleaned unless I mopped everyday. Well since mopping everyday is not in the cards, I though this mop would do it with so many great reviews - I was wrong. It does clean but it cleans over itself when it turns and that extends the dry time and also leaves the tire tracks - the cleaner leaves such a residue that no matter how little or much I used, STREAKS everywhere. The dry run as recommended by iRobot does not fix it. Adjusting minimal solution does not fix it. I had a similar problem on my floors and as soon as I changed the pad type, I had no other issues but this machine leaves the same lines regardless if I use the white disposable pad or the washable reusable pad. It might make a difference if it stopped washing over its run the first time but sadly, this iRobot is not the solution to my floors but will be going back to the store. You can't use any other solution - sounds like the phone scam where they ONLY wanted you to use their products to include cords and put chips in there to detect that it wasn't their power cord - ridiculous and so is this statement for the very expensive solution. Wish this worked - wish this worked -wish this worked (I thought if I said it three times like clicking the ruby slippers to go home, I might have an amazing solution to helping clean the house but I'm still stuck in Oz).

I purchased the Roomba i3+ last year and have had great results with it. So i went ahead and purchased the M6 to run in tandem with the vacuum. I had nothing but problems from the initial setup. First, the robot would not enter all of the rooms in the house (no thresholds). After multiple calls to iRobot tech support, the mapping was finally figured out. However, the M6 was then giving an error chime ever minute or two, without any errors being present. When sent out to perform a job, it would run for a minute, then shut down in place. It could not be sent home. After more calls to tech support, they decided to ship me a new unit. A week later when the new unit arrives, the initial mapping works better. I set all the keep out zones without issue. However, the next morning when I removed a keep out zone, the robot started behaving the same as the previous unit. Tech support said it's a known problem and they would download a software update, but after 5 days of listening to the chiming, I got fed up and returned the unit. On top of all of the headaches, the mop doesn't even do a great job of cleaning the floors. Our steam mob works better. I highly suggest making sure these bugs have been worked out before considering a purchase of any iRobot model that features mapping. The i3+ is still working great.
