This vacuum works as advertised. I had no problems with it mapping my house. It is not as noisy as other reviews have mentioned

I had previously owned a couple of the dumber Roomba robots (dumb in that they just bounced around or generally didn't have a cohesive clean pattern). They took a long time and I ultimately stopped using them because they got stuck or I got sick of constantly emptying the bin. The s9+ fixes all of these issues. It maps your home so you can tell it not to go specific places, this results in it getting stuck less and, generally, cleaning faster. It also has the clean base, so I can be ultra lazy and just let it do its thing without needing to tend to the bin after each run. Would recommend!

This thing is slick. There's a learning curve but it's short. Keep things like shoes and dog toy's off the floor and she works excellent. The only complaint is that it gets hungup on the bathmat. First world problems I know....

We had the first generation roomba and now I think the technology is nice, but it doesn't seem to do that much of a difference to justify the price. I think we'll go with the less expensive one

Makes it easy to vacuum while I am at work. Picks up great. Does not get hung up too much. Nice robot.

OK I'll admit that I was a bit hesitant about dropping 1k on a freaking Vacuum. I hesitated about investigated cheaper options. But i'm past the days of buying cheap. So YES this is an expensive vacuum...but ohhhh so worth it! Ive had a Roomba for about 15 years. My last 550 died on Friday. I've yet to give it a proper burial. However, I see now the huge massive changes iRobot has made to their product line in the last 6 years. My 550 was a very decent vacuum cleaner at the time. But this S9 is on another level. To quote Ferris "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up"

We bought this product as a refurb. So I didn’t expect it to last forever but it is truly dead at 2 1/2 weeks. Will not maintain a connection to the WiFi though I have done all the recommended things. I have never shied away from the Best Buy refurb but will think twice about it now.

It is obvious robots are here to stay and will eventually rule us all. With this in mind I am giving all robots glowing reviews in the hope they will keep me around when the take over. With that said, it does clean very well, and the ability to set separate cleaning schedules for each room is cool. It also looks to be easy to replace the battery and wheel motors and other wear parts when they eventually go out, so it won’t be junk in a few years. Only downer so far is that the garbage bags are 5 bucks apiece, but if you just dropped A grand on a robot I suppose that isn’t a problem.

This is a great little vaccum. It took about 4 times before it completely mapped out my house. Now it goes to the rooms that I program it to clean. It does a great job!!

Does a good job with the vacuuming. Excellent features. App has some connectivity issues and multistory cleaning can be a challenge. A large footprint and carpet can run the battery quickly and the job partially complete.

Powerful machine.It don’t always clean the entire areas in my house. It sometimes don’t return to the dock. It just runs out of juice.

It was not able to climb onto rugs like our j7 did.

I owned a Roomba before buying this one and for the most part it worked well. This one works but has issues like getting stuck a lot and clogging up at the base. I though the design would pick up better then the round version but I thing the squared off front actually causes it to get stuck a lot. I find myself making sure furniture it setup just right so this doesn't happen. As far as getting clogged I have a golden and they do shed a lot. This is why I bought this unit so it could clean up the hair and dirt. But it tends to clog when the vacuum attempts to empty in bin. Not all the time but it does happen.

t normally “remembers" where it is going but sometimes forgets. It also does’t know it’s size so sometimes gets stuck under furniture. But all in all does a good job

Should have purchased sooner. This thing is awesome and was a very acceptable gift for my wife. Does a great job cleaning and easy to set up.

I think this is an overall great concept... but it is LOUD and we have had a ton of trouble with it not going home or not charging once on it’s home. Not my favorite!

Great vaccum, but the mapping takes some time. I have two huskies and it easily handles the hair. Major downside is that it's a little loud.

Easy to set up, and vacuums satisfactorily. However, mapping our large house was frustrating. Roomba keeps going in same room as base station for very long time before starting other rooms.

This little guy is great! Interestingly, it actually motivates me to keep things clean and I clean more. When all I have to do is move stuff off the floor so the robot can vacuum, I find that I actually do it more often than when I have to also vacuum. It took the robot a little bit to learn the rooms latout. I am happy with how well it is able to cover the whole area and not muss stuff.

The key to this product is to let the Robot Learn your home before you get too excited about seeing how well it cleans.... And it does a spectacular job of cleaning. I only allowed it to do one pass around the home and then pushed it to go to work. (I'll reset it and do it correctly as soon as I have more time) but as it is. FANTASTIC! Works as advertised and better than I expected. It is expensive but worth every penny in my book. Get one. Enjoy! I know that I am.
