It works well. Didn’t take it long to map the house for easier vacuuming. Have a Labrador retriever robot picks up all the hair hasn’t been plugged yet

Amazing vacuum. Minimal human intervention self cleaning feature is awesome

The good: - Cleans well enough and is easy to use. - The machine is durable and should last a long time with the proper self-maintenance. - The recent robot firmware and app updates makes using this vacuum much easier. Hopefully the future updates will continue to refine/improve the use. The not so good: - The price of the vacuum and it replacement parts are high. The bad: - Getting the "Smart Maps" takes a bit of time as the robot needs to go over the whole area several times to make an accurate map. This issue is compounded if you ever need to redo the maps.

Tried other non self cleaning versions. So glad we switched to this one. It works great and very little hassle.

The I-Robot works fantastic. This is our second one we purchased and we have liked both of them. It actually picks up items pretty well.

love it works great at keeping the dog hair up off my floors gets stuck sometimes but not a big problem

I've had it for almost a month and love it....Depending on your floor plan (I have an open floor plan) it can take several hours to map your space as it needs to make three runs to completely map. Once mapped, depending on your floor plan, it can be quiet tedious to break-out your rooms in the app....Once the hard part is done, it's all smooth sailing. I run it daily in the kitchen and weekly the whole area....LOVE that I don't have to empty the bin, just swap out the bag when full....

So this is a great Roomba upgrade - I don't have to empty my bin everyday - now I can check it maybe once a month. That's a huge convenience. The best part of the upgrade is that I can now create exclusion zones. Heavy shag carpet is kryptonite to roombas! After the room is mapped, I can create exclusion zones that keep the s9 from getting stuck. It's working great! Love it! I no longer have to create a barrier of pillows to direct the vac.

Very solid Machine and clean well, but it is very heavy compared with S7 & s3 models, sometime it stuck too.

I do love this vacuum cleaner but I also hate it sometimes. I do not rehret my purchase at all. However, it sometimes has a mind of its own and will wander to other rooms to vacuum when i haven't programmed it to do so. I still feel like I need this vacuum cleaner because sometimes i get so busy that vacuuming by hand gets pushed to the bottom of the list. Though this robot vacuum can never be my only vacuum cleaner, it is a must have. It keeps my floors cleaner because they get vacuumed alot more often.

Love this thing.... maps quickly... cleans very very well... best little vacuum ive owned.

We are very impressed with the Vacuum, it has really saved us a lot of time and effort. I have a very bad back and heart issues and the Roomba s9+ has saved me from having to take extra medication. I would highly suggest the vacuum to anyone who wants to spend more time doing something else like spending more time with the family. If we would have known that this little unit has super vacuum power, we would have bought one a lot earlier.

It’s not worth half of the money. I’ve had 4 robots before this, including Robot Jseries and Ecovacs. It’s extremely loud ! Goes in a very odd way not in patterns, keeps going into no go zones and the battery - awful, 1 hour max and then it goes to recharge. So to vacuum the main floor about 950sf, it takes 6 hours!!!!

Much better than the old version. Works well. Mapping is good. Will see how durability is.

It does not pick up very well. A-lot of debris was left when sweeping after the vacuum finished

Love the new IRobot. We have one on every level of our home. With the purchase of a new home we needed a new robot for the first floor. This one works even better than the other two. It seems to learn the home better (and faster) with less bumping into items. Love the square side as well as it gathers dust in the corners better than the full round versions we have had.

Doesn’t clean properly and says it’s stuck when it’s not after a year and a half. Support says it’s out of warranty after a year and nothing they can/will do. For the $900 I paid it should last longer than that. Simply not worth the money.
