This robot has been running for a couple of weeks and gets better with every run. What some difficulties getting it to run right but a call to their support folks had us blazing along. CS even called us back a day or two later to make sure the changes were productive. We are really pleased with the investment.

This robot does exactly what you'd expect. I also own an e5 for another floor of my house. Unlike the e5 this robot makes a map and follows it. The map is precise. If you spill something, just make a clean zone in that spot on the app and send the robot there. Nice clean way to live. Rarely gets stuck or confused.

Easy to use, does as advertised. I am happy with this purchase. We have a new baby in the house that has an allergy to pet dander. We run the vacuum at night time and it has proven to reduce the baby’s exposure to the pet dander in our home.

Overall the wife is happy so it’s a good review. I would like to see the mapping be more intelligent and quicker though. Does a good job of transitioning between hardwood floors and carpet but can get stuck in tight spots. The app seems pretty good so far too.

I love it! I run it constantly while I’m at work and I get home to a clean house!

I researched robot vacuum for a whole year before deciding on this S9+. You map out the floors in your home and the rest is history nothing else you have to do since it empty itself in the bin. I recommend buying when it is on sale for $799.99

Kept getting errors and had to keep restarting... there was not really a known issue (ie clogs, battery, etc.) Robot vacuums sound like great, but I feel they do well for the easy part of cleaning. Getting into little cracks and areas where dust/dirt builds up is where the time consuming cleaning occurs...

This was an upgrade from the iRobot Roomba nine series. What a huge difference. We’d love it. The suction is much stronger. It gets in the corners better the quality is better. We love it. Worth the purchase.

So far so good, but extremely loud compared to the previous model s7.

It’s lots of fun learning how to best use this Roomba! We have a small bungalow with quite a bit of furniture so we are trying to learn how to put certain areas off-limits and/or have it just vacuum certain high traffic areas. So far he’s pretty amazing!

Easily gets caught on rugs, cords, and shoelaces. Has a hard time finding it's base when it's job is complete. Tore up some fringe on a rug. I will be returning it.

We have no carpet, dark floors, light haired pets and the Roomba keeps the floors looking great every day. The only thing is it doesn't clean where it can't fit (obviously) so there's still some light vacuuming required in the hard to reach places. All in all, we'll always own one!

Love this vacuum. It gets into the corners like no other Roomba before. It links with the IRobot mop and I never have the grit on the floors from the dirt buildup. My only warning is it is loud on deep clean mode. Plan to run it when you aren’t at hone or use the eco mode.

After having a Neato D7 for many years I decided to try to upgrade to the Roomba S9+. The mapping is impressive but honestly, I am disappointed in the performance. Leaves dirt on the floor, still after 3 weeks of running, misses areas in the house.

works well as a quick detailer in my 907sq ft apartment. Only issue I have is the pet hair. I have a long hair Main Coon cat about 10 years old. The roomba leaves the pet hair in clumps around the room. especially on turns. Picks up easily with the dyson hand vac thou. This will not replace my normal vacuum cleaner. But I will be cutting down to once a week vacuuming.

Well it did take some time for us to get the vacuum set up. My family and i were not at home for Christmas once it was setup it ran ok. Since then it has not been working properly. my wife has been in contact with iRobot, doing everything they have asked . It still is not working properly. They have asked for proof of purchase , I do not have it . possibly Best buy can send one e-mail to me? Not sure if it will be replaced or refunded. Would like one that works properly. Went with the more expensive item thinking it would be better. I think this shows that may not be accurate. Our home is kept clean always, so I do not think it has been overworked.

The overall power and function is excellent (the vacuum part), however the functioning algorithm for mapping doesn't seem to work as well as on the Braava jet® m6. It took a lot less time to map the same exact area with the mop. Secondly, the vacuum has a hard time handling slight irregularities in tiles. It causes the vacuum to produce bumper and other errors, while the braava jet m6 has no issues.

Great product. Has saved me many hours cleaning up after a messy puppy.

Traded up from the i7+ and kicking myself for doing it. The unit maps no better, gets stuck on things no better, gets clogged with dog hair no better and has a tendency to die for no reason that I can tell why. Very frustrating and too expensive to not have all these bugs and nuisances not worked out. I am very dissatisfied.
