Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with the Roomba s9+’s cleaning performance, mapping features, suction power, ease of use, self-emptying capabilities, and pet hair removal. However, some users note that the robot can be noisy and that its navigation system and battery life could be improved. Concerns were also raised regarding the robot's reliability and the relatively high price point. Overall, the positive feedback on cleaning and convenience is prominent, but potential buyers should consider the reported drawbacks.

Average vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not to sure why but my roomba died almost every morning even after it would charge all night So I would always have to go look for it when i woke up it would either be under my bed the couch or kitchen table so if you enjoy hide and seek this vacuum is for you

Pricey but it works better than any out there
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mapping when complete is very accurate. No go zones really work well and don’t have to worry about the cords in that area. One of the best features is the auto emptying after it has completed a cycle. Have one for upstairs and downstairs. Customer service is much more Neato than its competitors

Well worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was not sure if I really needed this but now that I have it I LOVE IT. My house seems so clean since I have this scheduled to vacuum 3 times a week. The mapping is a great feature and it mapped all 3 floors of my house with no problem. I never have to touch the unit until the main bag is full.

Worst than the i7
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the iRobot i7 for about a year and overall it worked great. I decided to upgrade to the S9+ to get the stronger suction for the area rug and one bedroom I have with carpet. I completely regret this decision. I have tried to map my house 5 different times and this thing is pure garbage. The maps are super jacked up and it simply will not make a good map like the i7 did. I try to run this every day for cleaning hoping it will learn a map and each day results in it getting stuck 4-5 times minimum on absolutely nothing. It will just get stuck in a corner or in the middle of a room. It gets stuck on the carpet. It is absolutely infuriating. I hate this robot and it is absolutely junk.

Awesome Deal
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had an older model forever and it was kind of a pain because it had a couple of things about it that could have been better, but this new one is the bomb. Dont listen to those people comparing the shark to it as they are comparing it to the 7 not the 9. The 9 is awesome.

Hardly can do it’s job without help
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This robot constantly needs help on my hardwood floors. It stops multiple times on a job to vacuum downstairs, telling me to clear the brushes. The brushes are not even obstructed! Often can just spin them a bit, and tell it to resume the job which may work for the rest of the job, or may work for just a few minutes. It’s mapping and cleaning itself work well for the most part, though there have been times it stops and tells me to empty the bin. If I had a second chance, I would have tried a different brand, because this robot vacuum makes me want to just vacuum myself and save the irritation.

Great Vaccum, poor battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spends more time charging than vacuuming, but at least it does a great job.

Iroomba s9+
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not had the opportunity to use it very much due to traveling but I really like it. It is a little noisy with the dumping. I would not suggest running it at night if it is in or near your bedroom. I was looking for something to help keep the floors clean and reduce my stress as I was returning to work.

Cleanest floors ever!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Roomba S9+. My carpets have never looked better. With two large dogs, dog hair is hard to keep up with and with a baby crawling around nothing makes me more happy than to see how clean my floors are! The suction power on this robotic vacuum is leaps and bounds better than my last robotic vacuum.

Much better than I thought
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Roomba 980 and needed a second robot to make house cleaning go a bit faster between three floors. Was hesitant to make the leap to the S9+ versus the S7 based on other reviews. While most of our floors are hardwood there are a few rugs and was hopeful the extra suction power and D-shape of the S9+ would be the better choice. It's been great, it climbs onto the rugs and does a better job than the 980; it's not afraid of the black border on one of our rugs that confused the 980 into thinking it was approaching a cliff. Also does an awesome job of cleaning into the corners of rooms. Definitely notice it has better suction power, a little quieter than the 980 most of the time. The upgrades on being able to choose rooms draw out "keep out" zones and ability to self empty after cleaning are huge improvements. I've had it for six months now and definitely would recommend as I have not had any problems with this model, nice upgrade iRobot!

Works wonderfully
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really have been very surprised by how well the Roomba works. The only thing I would say is definitely take the advice and have it make a couple training runs first and make sure you get any cords or strings out of the way. Otherwise it will try and eat them and stop the spinners. Even that though isn't a huge deal as it'll stop on it's own and allow you to fix the problem.

Never have to vacuum again!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing! It does get hung up a lot on cords and other various things we've left on the floor, but it's still so fantastic to be able to hit a button to have my downstairs floor vacuumed! I have recommended it to all my family to make their lives easier.

Great vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s nice how it maps your house and you can program when and where you want it to clean. Due to having a toddler and a dog, we don’t do scheduled cleaning. Instead, we have to do a walk of the house and make sure there isn’t anything on the floor that will interfere with it.

Great product ++++
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This an excellent product all the way. Our home looks much better than before. I actually reduced my dependence on a cleaning service form once a week to once on month. I can’t believe it that this was going to it

Nice helper in the home
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It vacuums great so far but we are having trouble getting it to dock without registering that it is "stuck". I have had Roomba's in the past and they often got stuck on area rugs and such. This guy will work itself back and forth and free itself in most cases. The mapping is pretty amazing and makes it nice to tell it to spot clean an area.

Loud, costly but very good cleaning
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the vacuum but the bad first... the prep involved prior to cleaning is pretty involved from removing small movable objects, tidying up loose cables and cords, carpets with fringes, noise during vacuuming and during debris emptying, the lengthy time to clean, stop recharge, clean and so on, the cost of the disposable collection bags, filters and other accessories, limited to basically cleaning one floor due to only one base and lastly the cost of the vacuum itself. You could move the vacuum from floor to floor but then you would have to be home to move the vacuum back to its base for emptying and recharge then back to the other floor if it was unable to complete the cleaning before it had to empty or recharge. So a solid three and half stars. My house is a mixture of wall to wall carpets, large and smaller rugs, tiled floors and hard wood floors. Four kids, lots of toys, electronics, wires and cables. Once I set it up on the main floor and installed the base and collection bin and linked up apps and did several mapping runs along with pre prep work on mapped areas...away we go. About 3-4 hours it was done cleaning with several notifications indicating it got stuck, some were false. Very loud and multiple passes over same areas sometimes with several missed areas, this got better as we used it more and more. With better pre prep work, cleaning the main floor was down to 3 hours or less, less false stoppage and less to no missed areas. I now schedule cleanup either when all of us are out of the house or when all the kids have just retired from the ground floor so that the noise will not be too much of an issue as they are still up for an hour or so in their rooms texting, homework so the sleep has not begun and the bulk of the noise would be almost over when they head off to slumberland. The app and notifications work well with some minor hiccups but to be expected. The mapping is very, very, very good. The cleaning process especially under high furniture and tables and corners is well about average. We now vacuum manually once or twice a month so that is a tremendous time saver. Look manual vacuuming involves no prep work because you either lift the item out of your way or vacuum around the cords, wires, etc. But the time savings cannot be underestimated even with the pre prep work. The unit is loud but does a through cleaning. The accessories are expensive and the disposable bags do get filled up quickly due to the through cleaning. Would I buy it again, probably not but that is due to the cost, it is a new product so maybe if it came down a couple of hundred dollars and accessories prices come down then yes. The time savings is fantastic, the kids like it and the dogs are terrified of the movement and noise.

Probably a good product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Main issue for me is no manual in the box. Took off by itself in middle of night. Couldn’t figure out how to to turn it off… unplugging it does nothing. How to use it is online. When you have urgent situation you don’t have time to Google it. Other feedback…Would like to map one room at a time but not an option. Marking ‘stay out zones’ is cumbersome and can only be done with straight lines/angles. I had heard you can use your finger and just draw lines where you want it to stay out of but didn’t find that on my model. … which would make it easier. We just installed new hard surfaces in the house. Seems to clean okay but not 100%… hope it improves with learning curve on how to fine tune it.
