Works great, very pleased so far with all the functionality and features. Great for hardwood and pet hair. Havnt really put it to the test but so far been happy. Roughly 2 months of ownership.

I always wanted one of these and when I got a chance to get one for a deal I did. It does what you would expect but it is not as brilliant as you would like. It constantly gets stuck under the couch and really takes a while to finish a room. It leaves me wishing for a better model.

I replaced my i7 model with the S9+ and found that it cleans my area rugs better, doesn't tend to get stuck under the couch as much and the auto dirt disposal to be well worth the upgrade. It's a chunk of change, but having a much cleaner house as I work makes it all worth it.

This is replacing my older 700 series Roomba, and I have to say the s9 is LIGHT YEARS ahead of it. It maps our your rooms, knows where it is, and vacuums in logical patterns until it his 99% of your floor space. The self emptying function is awesome and I would def recommend it!

Had older roomba and have loved it but it gets stuck a lot. Bought this new one and it seems awesome. Loved the room mapping, but it gets stuck a lot as well. Going to return it. Just don't want to spend $1000 on something that will get stuck every day.

So far this robot vacuum cleaner rocks. I love the app and how it empties itself out. The bag lasted about a month but I do have 2 cats and one Bernese Mountain Dog so I have a lot of hair in my house.

Works as stated and really helps keep up with the dust and pet hair.

Upgraded from the I 7+ to the S9. The S9+ makes a racket when on marble tile floor no help from I roomba customer service I’m going to give it a couple more weeks and if it still makes the crackling noise then I’m gonna take it back and go downgrade back to the I 7+

Hands down the BEST purchase i have ever made! This vacuum cleans perfectly every time! Once it has the layout of the rooms and floorplan, it is so easy to customize where and when you want it to clean, it also has different settings for regular or deep clean.

Love the ability to map out your house and select small areas to quick clean. Down side is that many small parts need to replace often. Also the unit gets real dirty when the point is to clean.

Worst iRobot that I have ever purchased! I am returning it today. While it has great suction and does an awesome job of picking up all sorts of dirt to include dog hair, it is not worth the time and trouble I have had with having to follow it around to restart it every two minutes. This iRobot does not seem to be able to back up and go around simple objects. I’ve tried multiple times to remap without success. It gets stuck easily and can’t go between carpet and flooring without my help. I’ve never had a problem with any of my other 5 iRobots!

I have never given any product a bad review but iRobot deserves it. This is my second iRobot Roomba s9+ and after 4+ hours on the phone with customer service and 11 emails the app still does not work… The frustration level on this robot is through the roof. “We can’t connect right now” remember that phrase you will get it a lot. Let me start with the first robot. It connected and worked as advertised for the first day, I was very impressed in a positive way. It mapped, let me set a schedule, No-Go boundaries and clean zones. Then the true colors showed through. I was unable to connect to it for 3 days with hours on to customer service. Customer service said they would escalate the problem and I would be contacted on Monday (this was Friday). Nope it didn’t happen. Finally on Thursday I got an email from customer service who came to the conclusion that it was something wrong with this Roomba… OK stuff happens so I took the Roomba back to Best Buy and ordered another that same day (store did not have an s9+ in stock). A few days later I get the new Roomba and the exact same problems… Except it would not connect using my Samsung flip 3 phone at all. Reading on the internet that some Roomba’s had problems with some phones I pulled out my 4-year-old LG Q90 and loaded the app. To my surprise it worked, again I was able to map etc. Then again nothing “We can’t connect right now”. 4 days and I can’t get in!! For this kind of money this thing should work every time. It’s going back I’ll be glad to show Best Buy my emails which confirm my problems and frustrations.

Amazing!!! I upgraded from the top level of the Samsung Robot Vacuum as it was always getting stuck or having problems. I decided to go with the iRobot, and get the s9 as it had better suction than the other versions. I can't believe the difference! It doesn't bang into my furniture, and I love that I can create "no-go" zones, so I don't have to make sure that the doors are closed before I leave. Ran it in mapping mode 2 times before using it to vacuum and it did a real thorough job. Each time it vacuums, it improves the map. I named my vacuum "Mom" so I can tell my Alexa to have Mom clean the kitchen. I think if you are looking for a robot vacuum, invest the money and get one that will do the job. I am a convert to iRobot! Have found nothing bad about this vacuum. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

App will need some updates to receive an excellent from me. down sides are vacuum tower bag is small, and wasteful. Unit is very loud when it reaches its base. adjustability of unit while cleaning is nice, but the ease of stopping the unit or pausing is not readily available. Takes a longer than expected time to map out cleaning area.

This robot vacuum has worked very well and has great suction. It takes a few runs through your house to get the map down. If it misses any spots you can always make it do another pass through and update the maps. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

I have a German Shepherd that sheds a lot, twice a year. I used a Dyson Animal Vacuum before but when I got new carpet it was too powerful and difficult to move so I got a Shark Navigator. I thought it was doing a good job until I invested in a iRobot S9+.

Love it this thing is a beast and gets into corners and over thresholds suction power ruthless...be careful with wires you will have you in a tug of war and the robot will win lol but leaves your floors feeling amazing!
