I purchased thinking this would help me with my routine cleanings since I have 3 small dogs. The vacuum was packed well and setting up wasn't hard. I programed and mapped out the house so the vacuum knew which rooms to clean. The first vacuum lasted 2 days, underneath the vacuum I noticed a piece was broken and I took it back to best buy for an exchange. The vacuum did a decent job in picking up hair and going over both tile and floor mats. With my second vacuum I had to reprogram my entire house and setting. Once that was completed I was able to get things going. Again the vacuum worked alright. It wasn't the best clean job on any occasion but it wasn't to get the hair off the floor and presentable. My thought process it would allow my wife and I some time before we needed to do our more detailed house cleanings. As a few weeks passed I noticed the vacuum would get stuck or it would not complete its set assigned room leaving it half done. I made sure the unit was charged and the battery indicated it was fully charged. After another week I noticed when I set the program to clean my house the vacuum reported low battery. I found it odd since the unit was on the dock. I troubleshooted the vacuum and docking station and made several attempts to recharge the unit. After making several attempts and researching troubleshooting measure I was unsuccessful. After spending this much money and having two units in about 1.5 months not work made me realize it isn't worth the price. I returned this item got my money back. I will just stick to vacuuming and mopping myself. Also the vacuum job takes time. A small room can take over 30 minutes when it would take the average person 10 minutes or so. Plus I found myself having to move things around constantly to avoid it from getting stuck. The look is very appealing and the technology is great but I wasn't pleased with the overall performance.

Awesome, it maps the house, strong, no need for housekeeper. Love it. Make sure you dont leave toys in the floor.

Excellent product. Cleans much better than previous versions by far. Doesn't leave as much dirt as the other ones. Highly recommended.

I bought this on a whim and wasn’t sure if you was going to keep it. I waited to the very last day to decide to keep or return wish I would’ve returned. I started to use it January 15th and the first three days were great although during the learning and mapping process it missed part of the house in which I had to find a creative way to keep it in the room I wanted it to map which it did except one little area. On the fourth day the trouble started, got code 31 navigation error with the red ring. It got stuck it two different areas and both were open floor. I would ask it through the app and Alexa to go clean certain areas which it would do roughly 20% of the area and head back to the base wouldn’t empty to the bin, red ring showing stuck on base. Of the 15 or so times I sent it out it got stuck code 31 red ring on the base 100% of the time. Contacted roomba did hard reboot while on phone and they hold me to call back if anymore problems. Next time out got stuck red ring code 31 on base. Contacted roomba again, they said they will send me a replacement. Next day and every day after that I received emails staying the replacement is on back order no date as to when it’ll be back in stock.

Quick and easy to set-up. Takes a while to map the house. After that just set a time a watch it go. Great buy.

Awesome piece of equipment! Don’t have to change or clean daily and allows you to forget about cleaning and yet it still gets done!!

I tried it and was amazed how well it works. At first I tried the i7 but this has more suction power! It is like having an automatic cleaning service. My Aunt recommended it! If you consider a cleaning service at around $100 monthly it pays for itself in less than a year. Best buy had a great deal for the Braavia Mop and the s9 so when the vacuum is done the mop starts. Floors have never been cleaner. The only thing you have to watch out for the the transition from room to room can't be higher than an 1/8"

It's good, but we have had some problems. Thankfully, iRobot sent us a replacement and everything works well. Definitely handy, but NOT worth the price.

Works great...does a very good job with our pet fur (lab and Bernese Mountain Dog.

Much faster than the 980. Cleans more thoroughly. Bin emptying feature is a nice addition. Put your feet up and enjoy!

So far so good. We have only had it a few weeks but this last one has been a good one. We have already swapped it out twice before this one so we will see. Cool Features that the other one did not have.

Love my “Rooba” after 2 trials it mapped our entire area where we wanted it to Vacuum! Life saver with 2 white German Shepards!

Wanted to wait a while so I could give an honest review. I had a roomba along time ago and this is way better than that thing was. We have a ragdoll cat and a dog that sheds a lot. This thing runs at least four days a week. It has saved us at least 40 hours of vacuuming time....an entire work week of vacuuming in the 4 1/2 months or so that we have had it. I have had to pull out some hair but the way this is designed that’s very easy to do. We absolutely love it.

Leaves dirt behind. Too many errors. Runs out of battery early

This little vacuum is a work aholic, the one of the best purchase I’ve made.

We thought we would need three of these to keep up with pet hair and dust that our dogs bring in. This one is getting the job done!

This is the best Roomba yet! Does a great job on hardwoods. Struggles a little bit with rugs with long threads though.

I wish it did a better job of remembering the mapped paths and did not have to be remapped so often. I also wish the battery would last longer!
