Jury Is Still Out. I just tried this for the first time and it isnt mapping the area correct. It keeps just doing the same rooms over and over. If it is able to complete this in under 3 hours and do a good job on ht edog hairs, it will be great.

I bought the open box and the description said it’s in perfect condition and almost as a brand new and open the box and the vacuum cleaner has missing parts. Called customer service and bad and worst customer service.

I absolutely love my new Roomba, it is unbelievable honestly I have 2 Bernese mountain dogs and wondered if it could keep up all the hair, so far excellent. We'll see how she does when they shred out. But I have faith in it. I enjoy just watching her vacuum she's very smart and gets places I didn't think were possible.

I love this Roomba!! I was not a believer....but my daughter talked me into it...it is amazing. Does a great job, easily "trained", and I love that she docks herself and empties herself. Yes, I said "she". Her name is Rosie (named after the first robot I remember as a chid, Rosie, from the Jetsons) Makes it fun. Seriously, I have so far been very impressed.

I wanted to love this vacuum so much! We upgraded from the i7 which quit on us after a year. They found a malfunction in the hardware so we were refunded for it. We then bought the s9 and the first one kept giving the error that it was stuck, but would automatically return to the base and cancel the job. We return the first one and they ordered us another one and it arrived and kept giving a similar error saying that it was stuck and it would stop in the middle of the room with nothing around it. Along with the error, it would always say please clear brushes. Every time it did this, we would flip it over thinking that it was an object actually stuck in the brushes but it never was. There is obviously some type of malfunction with the software. If they would fix this, the s9 would be one of the best vacuums on the market!

Works well, but we've had mixed results. It works well on one of our rugs, but it doesn't do so well on another. Our Dyson vac works much better on the troublesome rug. Mapping a room takes a huge amount of time. It took about 3 hours for it to map the lower-level of our house (roughly 1400 sq. ft.) and it didn't succeed in one go. It's novel, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I am not happy with the S9+, i have owned it for 6 months now. I needed an upgrade from my older Roomba 650 becuase it would not go over my new area rug. I initally purchased the 7+, I thought the 7 should have workded better for the price, so i returned it and got the 9+. As it turns out that the 9+ is worse on picking up dog hair, and it gets stuck at a minimum of once per run, which i run it once everyday. It gets stuck in the middle of the floor, with nothing in its way. My recomendation is not getting the 9 but getting the 7, i had the 7 for a little over 3 weeks with no running issues, it picked up the dog hair better, but not great. I missed my return date, so i am stuck with this 1k robot that i have to help getting unstuck every day. not woth the price
