The S9 plus is quieter than my old 980. The software is also better newst update as of Oct 2019 allows you to specify no go zones on the map, you can have multiple floor plans and it will remember the plans. I love the clean base that sucks up the trash when it is done vacuuming.

Very high quality product. I purchased this one to work from and wanted something durable, high speed and light so it is easy to carry. So far, it has met all expectations. Great product and would recommend.

Works great and is super useful to have around the house! Definitely makes life easier. The room a was quick to learn the layout of our house and adapt to changes of furniture or objects. The more times it runs the quicker it completes its jobs.

So far a terrible start. We purchased the S9+ and within the first few minutes it started to throw errors and shut down. After speaking with roomba support they told us to return the unit as defective and try another one. The customer support for roomba also mentioned that they were having a lot of issues with this model. We are purchasing another to see if we had a lemon or there is a bigger problem. When it worked it did do a very good job of cleaning.

It’s a great vacuum cleaner, it really deep cleans, then it goes back to its base and releases all the dirt it has accumulated, it can be controlled by Alexa , the only negative you have to remove all devices that have wires from the floor, it can get tangled in the iRobot!!

This is my second robot vacume, the first being one of the older neatos. What an improvement. Although it may be cost prohibitive to some it still is the best reviewed on the market. Xmas sale $200 off.

It was delivered one day early, and with two afternoons later it's on the hunt and cleaning all the hardwood floors in the house. No more hidden dust bunnies --- Happy days

It works great for two weeks, and the those errors. Every single day with errors about the bin.

I would have given it 5 stars since the product was great until it stopped working properly after a month. I called Roomba about it and they will send a replacement. If you experience the same problem just contact customer service about it.

Picked up this item about three weeks ago. Initially went through the floor plan learning phase and built and labeled the map. I then scheduled the cleanings. In initial 17 attempts it has never completed a job. It routinely announces job complete with less than half the square footage of the room completed. I rebooted the unit and rebuilt the maps as per manufacturers instructions. Through an additional 20 attempts again same issue. I purchased this with the mop and it works as advertised. Ultimately instead of saving time it is still easier to vacuum conventionally.

I have bought three of these for myself and family. I have also bought a Shark Robot Vacuum, there is no comparison to me to be worth the breath. I can't say enough great things about this iRobot. Great! Helpful! Smart! Thorough!

Roomba or Rosie the Robot as we call her tackles every surface and has no issues with the dog hair. You will need to maintenance as indicated to have continued high performance, but that is a small price to pay for a 24/7 clean floor.

Does a great job, glad we have it. We haven't figured out all of the programming yet, as we are still moving furniture, but it does everything we ask of it!

Dust bin is too small. Very difficult setting up.

Got this December 10th. It worked the first day, but after that started getting "error 31" which is an internal communication error. It also thought it was stuck numerous times, on nothing. Did the recommended reboot several times, with no luck. Called irobot 12/14 and they sent a replacement robot, which arrived 12/23. Again, it worked the first day, but then developed "error 31" after <5 minutes of running. At least this one didn't get stuck in the middle of the room. (I've had Neatos and a Roomba 880 in this part of the house for years, so I know it's not the environment). I called IRobot again today and they are supposed to get back to me within 2 days with a "resolution". I assume that will be sending a third unit since the recommended reboot did not help. (Nor did running it unconnected to WiFi or connected to a different WiFi.) I have until January 16th to return it to Best Buy for a full refund, and plan to do so if the next unit is still faulty or does not arrive in time. I really wanted to like this product. I love the idea of not having to empty the bin every day (4 dogs and 4 cats, so I do run my robotic vacuum daily). My Roomba 880 is pitching in for now-it gets a 5 star for reliability and longevity, but sadly it does not empty itself, or talk to an app. Will update review if I get a working unit.

This is the best iRobot ever. This replaced an older model we had and what a difference. The mapping feature is awesome, just tell it where to go and there it goes. No issues what-so-ever. It’s a great machine to have around.

The vacuum is not precise as the Braava Jet M6. Also, I was not able to integrate the both Roomba maps from main floor and 1st floor To vacuum just one floor it takes 5:30hs (3.000sqft)

The idea of the product is amazing but has a lot of software and driver errors. I hope that they improve it. Works fine until it fails

Amazing! New design gets in corners better than round units. Maps out all rooms to clean, even in small spaces. Unit can easily be programmed to steer clear of areas as big as a bed or as small as a kitty dish.

I have been a 900 series owner since 2016 and with the new automatic dump base I had to upgrade, and it has been worth every penny. Very convenient and easy to use, setup was very simple and the app is user friendly and intuitive.
