this was the best purchase in a long time- we had an early model and the difference is night n day- keeps the tile floor clean from 2 GSD hairy beasts -

It works perfectly I have to furry puppies and it helps keep my house clean definitely recommend it easy to use.

I have a German Shepherd so I was a little worried about how this would do w/ all the dog hair. I have set this on a schedule and it works great! I love it!

I now have 2 of these and would not recommend any other model. This one always re-docks flawlessly.

The reason I rated it low was because I have to reset it at least every other time that I run Roomba. I run it several times a day so it gets very annoying. Also the roller book brushes cut up easily. Even long hair cuts the roller brushes up. The roller brushes on my past roomba’s did not get damaged, let alone by hair. I am going to return the unit, and purchase a new one to see if it is a consistent problem with this rumba.

This is my second roomba as it’s absolutely an upgrade from the older model. I think it’s a must have for every household, especially if you have pets!

works very well and has good software. Once the time is taken to map the unit and understand the software, the robot works very well.

Worked great for a week, was really excited for this and then it started to make a really bad screeching noise. I called roomba and the technician heard it and was shocked. She asked me to send it to them and I explained I bought it at Best Buy. She said return it. So i did. I have been thinking of buying another but for 899$ or whatever the price is, I can’t justify.

Really bad experience with this cleaning robot. Keeps getting stuck in simple places. Side brush gets clumped as soon as you replace it ergo bad corner performance. Sometimes, battery dies while it is cleaning and it is unable to return to the base. Cleaning performance is okay but i'd not buy again given a choice.

We had the i7 and decided to upgrade. Worth every penny. The S9 does better around strange shapes, and is much gentler on furniture.

We’ve been using our iRobot for about 7 months now. Great product! No issues since unboxing and it runs great!

Does a great job picking items up off the floor, does take quite a bit of time to map your floor plan but in the end well worth it.

It does not work in the dark. Scheduled to clean at 11pm and not once it finished, Localization error everytime Although it mapped my floor 5 times. We need to babysit it when it runs to make sure it doesn't get stuck. Also has troubles on floor vents, gets stuck.

Does ok. Haven’t used it for a while because it gets stuck on the dog toys but does ok for light keep up.

We have three cats and hard wood floors. Once we run the Roomba, it picks up everything. We’ve only had it for two weeks so we’ll see what happens in a year.

Love this vacuum, once you understand how it works… it is great. Bought a second one for another floor in the hiuse

We “upgraded” to this vac when our Neato died. We had multiple problems with it and were unhappy with features and performance. We found the size of the bag the vac auto-empties to be too small in a multi-pet household. The sensors inside the vac that the bot uses to know when to auto-empty itself repeatedly got clouded with dirt, so the vac didn’t know it should empty. The vac never mapped our whole open area. The rollers on the vac literally pulled fibers out of our carpet and left sizable globs of carpet all over. We worked with their service department but were unable to resolve any of our issues. Returned.
