This product came non functional in the box. Best Buy has not gotten back to us so I'm out $1200. Will be filing a charge back today

Robot would not charge on the base station, very expensive for it not to work like it should.

We returned it. Was not able to set up room patterns, Stopped mid run. Enough said. We did like the self cleaning feture.

Open box was a horrible idea. The lid would not stay closed.

In less than a month of use cleaned brushes many times - already had to factory reset - NOT READY FOR AVG CONSUMER!

Nothing but problems on unit #2 and now it failed stay away if you want a no hassle product

Irobot has gotten worse and worse. They are nothing but a joke.

Setup – The Getting Started page included in the box is all you need to set this up to get “Jeeves” (as I have named him in the app) busy working. Simply plug the base into an outlet, place the Roomba onto the base and download iRobot HOME app and follow the instructions on your phone. It is that simple. Trial - I was so excited to try this out that I just couldn’t wait for it to charge 3 hours before I started using it…it ran for 20 minutes right out of the box. Considering I was using it in a very small bedroom, there was enough time to finish the room in its entirety before returning to the base. Jeeves went over a few spots multiple times where the dog sleeps, I believe to be sure it got ALL the dog hair off the carpet. I was actually shocked that there was so much dog hair in the bag, especially since my dog is one that doesn’t shed very much and I hadn’t seen any on the carpet before-hand. Disposal – When it was done with the room, it went back to its base to dispose of the dirt in the bin that it had collected. The disposal tower sucked the debris up into the disposable bag that needs to be disposed of when filled and it will let you know when this should be done. Placing the disposal bag in the disposal tower and removing the bag for disposal is very simple. The bag can easily slip in and out of its holding slot in the tower. There is a slide closure over the disposal bag opening, so that no debris will get out on your nice clean floor upon its removal. If you schedule more than one room and it picks up an unusual amount of debris, it would return to the base to empty its bin before returning to finish its job. App and Features – The app will map out all the rooms in your house if you let it via the Roomba as it is cleaning for the first few times. Once it has a map of the rooms, you can individually name them. This allows you to choose which rooms you want or don’t want the Roomba to vacuum. You can also schedule the day and time you want a particular room or all to be cleaned. Favorite Feature: You can connect Roomba to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, then just tell the virtual assistant which room or rooms you want vacuumed randomly without scheduling. Observations – This has got to be the most powerful robotic vacuum that I have ever come across and I have had a few. Time will tell, but it seems more powerful than the upright vacuums I have and I might not even have to ever vacuum again. With other robotic vacuums I felt I had to do a good cleaning within a month or so because they didn’t seem as powerful as a regular vacuum. The iRobot brand - I was so excited getting this newest model of Roomba and I have been with them since the beginning and can tell you that they last just about forever. I still have the original Roomba when they first came out years ago (her name is Rosie) and she can now retire. She deserves it after all these years. She has had a few other robotic friends to assist her, so she was treated well. I am a true believer in the iRobot brand. Old Rosie is proof the brand is outstanding. Recommendation: Unlike with Old Rosie needing some assistance, I truly believe Jeeves can handle it all on its own. They have come a long way. I am so excited to get this iRobot Roomba and could go on and on about it, but I will just say that I highly recommend it. If you have a bad back like I do, trouble bending, etc. this is a life saver and a MUST have. PS: This can be very entertaining when you watch how your dog reacts to it.

After owning this beautiful machine for a year, I am extremely happy with clean it keeps my home, duel mapping options, and how easily it navigates through the home. I have wood floors, a dog, a baby and a cat - so I run it everyday. I may not be the typical user - my only complaint is how often the rollers need to be replaced, and cost $45 every 3 months. The bags, and filters also add up.

I have 3 dogs and i have always lived with dog hair on my floor until now. Ibhave it set to run every time i leave the house and this is a game changer! If you have pets that shed, you will love this! I have black plush carpet in my bedroom and this sucks up the hair better than any vacuum ive used in the past.

It cleans very well, but I spent many, many hours with customer support: One month in, it started to go "crazy". It would start to vacuum then just die. Had to carry it back to the home base. I got a replacement which worked great for about 12 months, just in time for the warranty to expire. Then it started to go berserk again - it no longer could find its way. Then got retrained. Then started its old tricks - stopping dead in the middle of the room. Buttons unresponsive. Back on the home base. Reboots. Then again... I tried to get an estimate for the repair but they insist I try all kinds of experiments and I have spent countless hours on the phone. It is a great robot when it works.

USE THIS ROOMBA ALL OVER MY HOME FOR BOTH CARPET AND TILE AREAS. WORKS AMAZING GETTING ALL THE CRUMBS MY KIDS MAKE.

I’ve owned one for about 3 months. My floors are a solid surface. I contained the cords where the vacuum wouldn’t get hung up. It works fairly well considering there are 4 people and a dog in the cleaning space. This is not the end of your cleaning though, you will need to sweep every now and then. Couple of things I found: It does not like cords. Lamp, phone or any cord that can be sucked into the rollers stop the machine. Having as few obstacles as possible really helps. You have to maintain the unit. Clean the rollers from hair and debris and, the air filter must be cleaned or replaced depending on traffic debris. Overall, it does a good job keeping my home clean and I recommend it.

This is my first robot vac and I can't believe I waited this long to get one! I myself am in a wheelchair and on oxygen. So in the household I have a 30ft. tube that goes throughout the house as I roll. Prior to getting these I had to manually push a vacuum and try and keep the cord from getting tangled in my chair and crossing the oxygen line. Now with this gem I simply sit back and watch it work. This has been a Godsend for me.Cleaning the floors are effortless now. I would highly recommend it for those who might have difficulty walking or with disabilities, and elderly My husky is amazed at watching it work its way across the floors and I am amazed and how easy it picks up all of his fur!! Its a breeze to use and I couldn't be happier with the job it does!
