She helped me get the best product for me to use at home for work. It was easy to set up on my laptop connected to two monitors. It does have an install application for your laptop, which I tried to install it but kept getting an error message "Access denied" But there was no need for me to install it for use on my Dell work laptop, I went ahead and plugged it in and after it loaded by itself it automatically worked with no install. :) So, if the application won't download I will say try to plug it in without the application install. You won't regret your purchase

It says it works for MAC but I couldn't get it work on my friends MAC. But it works fine for a couple of my windows laptop. Easy to install at least on a windows laptop.

Is it just a Dell thing?

Older modeled laptops like Dell must be connected directly to the HDMI (from my recent experience of using it with my personal and work laptops).

When I first got the adapter, only one monitor extended and the other one mirrored. I downloaded the driver and uninstalled it multiple times until I found out that the MacBook Air requires Catalina and can't run on High Sierra. Once I downloaded Catalina, the adapter worked as needed and allowed me to extend to both monitors. This was definitely worth the money
