Excellent sound quality for the price point. Recommended if you need a small footprint speaker.

Paired with the center channel these things shake my whole house

The overall directional sound levels and performance are perfect for mid range speakers at an affordable price. I highly recommend these for surround or even tower replacements.

Bought these and the Kef q150's. Set up with a Sony receiver just to play vinyls. I think the Klipsch have a fuller sound and a little more bass. Kef's were crystal clear but I felt didnt have the depth of sound of the Klipsch. Both great speakers for the price (sale price)... R-50Ms just sound better to me!

Thes little speakers Rock!!! Good amount of Bass with the little sub that is on them, but the Klipsch horn is Perfect sounds for the highs and mediums. Pair it with a 10" subwoofer and your Good to go and rock the house

This speaker system is awesome. I have a cabinet for the flat screen and sound system. I had big old speakers that were built in, we downsized, and I need two smaller ones to replace the old. These were the perfect fit. Slipped them into the shelf and turned on the surround sound and WOW. These are great you will not be disappointed.

Having 15 Klipsch speakers from the reference and reference premier series I am really amazed at the changes made to the ll line. The sometimes harsh notes on top are gone, midrange is better, bottom is tight and surprisingly strong for its size. Just a pure pleasure to listen to.

Got these for my basement tv. They are great. Maybe not cinema experience great, at least on their own, but to my ears they are very satisfactory.

I have a 5.1.2 system in a large family room. The klipsch are being used for my rear high surround speakers. Plenty of power and base for the room size. Awesome book shelf speakers.

First off, let me say that I have been a fan of Klipsch since the mid 70's. (I even Rep'd them in Europe during 79-80) As with many manufacturers through the years, there have been better years than others when it comes to technology, quality, and service. One thing Klipsch has always maintained is the crisp clean natural sound I prefer in my music reproduction. The Reference series delivers just that, and at a very good price point. The synchronization with paired equipment creates a system which is easier to install without the need for paying an outside sound specialist. Whether the setup is for a 2-channel music playback system or an 11.1 theater array you would be hard pressed to create the audio reproduction and spread of this Series at twice the price!

Great quality speaker with smooth ones. Good bass and excellent treble at all volumes. Fits easy on top of bookcase and not obtrusive. Clean sound.

These look nice and the price is ok they just seem to sound better if you have an amplifier to power them which is a little inconvenient for such small bookshelf speakers

I have Q Acoustics book shelf speakers in my living room and got these Klipsch for another room. The Klipsch provide a lot of detail and bass is very good, but the vocals don't sound good in my opinion, in my mind the Q Acoustics are a lot better and when I decided to return them it was too late so I have to keep them. Then I started looking into how to improve the sound and came across a company that make kits to improve the sound but there is no kit available for the R50M, the kit usually includes a better sound deadening material so I opened a speaker to take a look at the internals and realized that the Klipsch have a very thin cotton like material, then I decided to replace it with a 1 inch thick that I got from Amazon, what a difference! the sound improve a lot!

I used these to replace the side front speakers for my TV, replacing Polk T-15s (whick became my rear speakers). the upgrade is tremendous! Fabulous sound for the price!
