The PS3 version has a lot less stuttering than the X360 version. Although the extra cases and suit is available for money for X360 and PS3 while it is included in the PC version. The PC version is far superior in that you can control any stuttering or graphics by well building your own system. Although with the PC version, you do lose out on Trophies and Achievements, plus the Rockstar Social Club requries Flash, yuck. Story should take you about 20 hours if you download the extra cases and play then with the main game. It's fun, well thought out, and the attention to detail is exquisite. Still neat to see the La Brea Tarpits and other LA landmarks from around the era. There is an overarching story while you solve your cases which keeps you interested as the game progresses, a little bit of twists keep you guessing. The voice acting is superb, the only drawback is that it takes a while to get use to shooting. If you expect this to be a gung-ho FPS style game, then don't buy it. If you are looking for a puzzle, crime based simulator, then yes definitely get it. You might find out who did really kill the Black Dahlia.

Open world like gta but has more story! The only downside is there is nudity in some cases. Not something you want playing if you have young family around.

While this game provides you with an enjoyable experience, and many cases to solve, I found it to be some what repetitive; in that you do the same thing for each case. However, it was well made, and worth the play.

Can't stop playing the game, something different then grand theft auto

So far, it is a nice change up from the normal rpg. The plot is developing and I love the music. Only rated a 4 because I haven't finished it yet.

Pretty enjoyable and unique. You get to solve cases in L.A. after WWII. only downside is their isn't a lot of extra stuff to do in the game.

This is a fantastic game. 1940s detective work with the same engine as GTA, and some varied missions, go tour LA while solving murder cases, doesn't get any better than that. And the dialogs can be real funny.

I looked at the reviews before going to the store to grab this game, but it is absolutely fantastic. Try it.

My wife just bought this game because she really liked Heavy Rain and wanted something similar. It may be slow paced for some people but we both really enjoyed playing this game, it is fun and different than a lot of the other games out there.

I purchased the item one day in store. It's actually a pretty decent game. I'd recommend purchasing.

Find out where all the memes came from with the original game that started it all. Don’t DOUBT me. Buy it. Or probably get the remaster since this is old.
