Customers are pleased with the 4.2 Cu. Ft. Stackable Smart Electric Dryer's compact size, quiet operation, and ventless design, finding it easy to use and efficient. Many appreciate its capacity for a smaller footprint, although some note that drying time may be longer than expected and that the dryer produces some heat. The stackable feature is also a plus for many users.

I bought this DLEC888W after it's predecessor (DLEC855W) died, following 7 1/2yrs. of good service. The Stack-on aspect is critical, as I'm in a small condominium. I also wanted the front-vented type, so the warm air exhausts inside, and isn't wasted outside. No dryer vent hose to worry about cleaning! You WILL need to purchase a new 220 volt power cord, as it does not come with one attached (!). The 'Stacking Kit' is hidden inside the dryer, something not apparent outwardly. It has two sets of brackets, allowing stacking on more than one model of washer (my washer is an LG WM1355HW). The fact that LG is a South Korean brand was a factor in my choice; check yours prior to installation for a tag which should state specifically where it was made, as LG stated to me that they have "factories in several locations." The unit is quiet and efficient.

Second time owning this dryer, the first dryer was horrible. It took forever to dry my clothes; at times the clothes were still damp it only lasted 3yrs. I regularly maintained it cleaned the trap for ever cycle but it didn’t make a difference The second dryer is better, dries fast on every cycle.

For perfect for our condo. I’ve never owned a ventless dryer, so discarded the excess water pulled out of the clothes from drying is something to get used to. It takes a bit longer to dry heavier items like a comforter, but I’ll take that for fitting into the space we had.

I didn't realize this was a ventless dryer. Works well, but dumps warm air into the alcove it sits in which is also by the house thermostat. So when the dryer runs it makes the a/c run more frequently unless we turn it up or off. Otherwise, quiet and works well.

I have only owned this ventless LG condenser dryer for a couple of weeks! But performance has been great. It doesn’t take longer than my previous vented whirlpool dryer to dry clothes. But you can tell the difference in the softness of the clothes. Also the reduction of the amount of dust in the apartment is unbelievable! Great investment since I been getting allergy shots for dust, grass, etc. I dare BB to ask me again in six months!

I wanted a smaller, ventless dryer to fit in my bathroom/laundry room. It does warm up the room quite a bit when drying cottons. This aspect will be great in the winter as that room tends to be cold.

Low profile dryer that is stackable. Only lost a star due to water tray which must be emptied after each use. Do not require a dryer vent

it’s okay just takes a while to dry and sometimes sensors turn off the dryer while drying the sheets and have to take them out and put them on moist side so machine won’t turn off

Works great! I had heard compact dryers weren't the greatest but we haven't had any issues. Fits perfectly in our space under the stairs and gets the job done.

Due to the limited space, I had to choose this form factor when I replaced my previous dryer. It takes twice long to dry but it does it's job.

This was part of a washer/dryer set we bought to fit a small space in a condo. It has lots of cycles and works well but it does seem to take a while to get things dry.

I've had this for several months and it's not that much of a downgrade from my previous, full size Samsung set. The size savings make it worth it!
