Here’s a short, positive review for the LG front-loader washer:
“The LG front-loader washer has been fantastic—quiet, efficient, and incredibly thorough with every load. I love the modern features, fast wash cycles, and how fresh and clean my clothes come out. It’s reliable, easy to use, and definitely worth the investment.”

Excellent machine. Super quiet and efficient. You can definitely notice the difference from your older model.
The spin cycle is much faster, reducing dry time. The most handy feature is the Ai option that helps older folks to simplify operating.
It also has many customization options like multiple rinse feature which I love since I hate soap being left in my clothes.
I had it for about 4 months now, So far so good. Very happy with the purchase.

My new graphic Steele LG washer is Awesome. I love all the upgraded turn dial features, and it looks very nice on the pedestal with extra storage at the bottom. Now I can wash bigger loads of clothes in about 30 minutes.

I chose the LG WM5800HVA after an agonizing amount of research comparing reliability data, features, looking at build quality, and real-world user experiences. LG consistently had the lowest service rates among major brands (3-4% vs. 9%+ average), and this model offered the capacity and features I needed without the problems of auto-dispensers that can develop mold issues.
Pros so far:
Cleans well for normal loads; plenty of cycle options
TurboWash 360 is genuinely fast (30-minute cycles)
Phone app is actually convenient for cycle monitoring, + fun bonus, you can add custom sounds and animations to washer interface
5.0 cu ft handles big loads easily
Quiet operation
Steam option
Cons:
Occasionally find debris (hair, leaves) stuck to the front gasket or inside the tub after wash—requires regular wiping
Heavily soiled items sometimes need a second wash (typical for HE washers)
Before installing the washer, I looked inside from the bottom, nearly every internal component is plastic—they definitely don't make them to last like they used to, unfortunately this seems to be industry-wide now.
Bottom line: It's a solid, efficient machine if you're willing to do regular maintenance (wipe the gasket, leave the door open after using it, and the monthly tub clean). Modern appliances are what they are—plastic internals and planned obsolescence—but the failure rates suggest this is one of the better bets available today.
Note; I bought an open-box unit so was able to save several hundred off the sale price

Very nice and sleek. Lots of settings to mess around with. So far we've used the normal, heavy and bedding settings. I've noticed cleaner cloths with a frsher scent since using thia washer. I also notice less of a 'wet' smell in our cloths. This is probably in part to being new washer versus using an older 5 year old washer.

Best washer I have ever used. I had the 5.2CUft version for a few years at my old house and it was perfect! I moved and purchased this newer version and it is even better! Definitely, buy LG for a washer or dryer. This model is great for it's large capacity, speed, washing and reliability.

So far, the washer works great. It has an AI feature that adjusts the washing time based on the weight and materials of the clothes. You can connect your washer to your LG app and navigate it remotely.

Washer was reasonably priced, and features are good for the price. Washer covers all the bases. Haven't tried the "AI" mode yet, but all the standard settings are there. The machine functions as expected, I just hope it ends up being a reliable machine.

This washer washing fast 35mins a load and quiet, clothes comes out clean no complaint there. Original I bought the 2-in-1 wash and dryer Best Buy unplugged my dryer to install to the 2-in-1 but decided to rerun it snd get just the washer only Best Buy refused to install my dryer back, no even willing to help move the dryer back in its original space which is like 6 ft away. I think it’s not making sense to me,so be aware.

Very modern looking. Great ai capabilities, so far so good. Shakes a bit but it could be my fault as i installed aftermarket wheels since i am stacking the dryer in a tight space, might have to remove the wheels to avoid shaking.

We had our Kenmores Washer for 12 years when it started having issuesand when it did it went downhill fast, so we reached out to Consumer Reports and investigated our options between several models of washers, but I have to say that if the LG washer is anything like the LG refrigerator and dishwasher we purchased in the spring, then we can't go wrong with our new washer and dryer by the same company. I have been running our loads for the past several days, and we are thrilled with the unit's size, the drum's capacity, and the slick front display dashboard.
