A few years ago I made a big mistake and bought a Samsung washer and dryer ...it was the worse purchase I could have made. I love LG products all of my appliances and TVs are LG. I highly recommend this dryer and the washer too!

LG Dryer - not my favorite

There are lots of options which is nice but can be frustrating when you just need a few more minutes to get something completely dry and can't seem to find an option for that. The inside of the dryer door seems to collect lint and dirt at the bottom of the dryer door and it doesn't easily wipe away. A little disappointing I'll need to regularly need a wet cloth to wipe down the door. The lint drawer also seems to not totally collect all the lint. There are often piece floating around on top of it, not much but annoying. There's a lint alarm on the machine and now I know why. Otherwise, it's a nice dryer, seems to be effective, isn't super loud. Overall, a nice product. Just some minor annoyances.

Sorta either way regarding the internet connectivity, but getting my phone to beep at me when a cycle is done is sometimes more useful in keeping me on task when handling multiple loads of laundry than the chime - especially since I disabled it. Rating at a 3 because it... does the job. There's nothing super special about it and it's not bad, but it doesn't blow my mind or wow me with how super amazing it is or anything. You cannot run Doom on it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As a quick troubleshooting step, to adjust the volume or turn off the chime for the end of the cycle, look for a Signal button on the control panel. Pressing this button repeatedly often allows you to cycle the volume settings through High, Low, and Off.

Great dryer

I especially like the lint trap, which is a big deal to me. When I'm shopping for a dryer it's the first thing I look at. Only thing it doesn't have is a light inside. I don't mind this

The dryer was very easy to figure out, even the WiFi setup. I thought WiFi was probably a wasted feature but it turns out that I like it since you can check how much time is left on a load and it notifies when the load is done.

It took three different deliveries the get a working washer, On January 7, the washer was damaged On January 21, the second washer was damaged. On January 24, the third washer, finally it is working!!

Not much use by me of any advanced features it might have because, I just need it to dry wet cloth in various forms. It is a well made and is so simple to operate that once I just started using it I haven't had to refer back to the directions. I hope it lasts.

I had front loaders for 14 years and then purchased the top loader with no agitator. Had for 8 years. Did not like it. So I am happy to have these new front loaders much quieter and I love the pedestals. Bought them and then a week later they went $100 more off and Best Buy refunded our money. Happy happy.
