Best Buy is the worst.

Second deliver my showed up without the parts to complete install. Everyone was clueless. Even if you have to pay a little more, go somewhere else.

This dryer is more trouble than it’s worth.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I could’ve rated this unit much higher, especially since the washing machine this pairs with is excellent, but after going through two different units, I will be returning it. I could not get this dryer to properly dry a single load. After speaking to multiple friends who own an LG dryer, the Flow Sense sensor is far too sensitive and incorrectly reports having an “Home Exhaust Blockage” where none exist. In theory, Flow Sense could be a great feature that alerts you to the presence of too much lint in your home exhaust vents and hopefully prevent a fire. But the calibration for this sensor is off, WAY off. Once the dryer even thinks there a blockage, it deactivates heat and prematurely terminates the load, leaving all of your clothes wet. Even after multiple, thorough cleaning of my home vents, this dryer insisted there’s a duct blockage. This is frustrating and unacceptable, to say the least. In the worst case scenario, this dryer could possibly cause someone to spend hundred of dollars unnecessarily on home dryer vent cleanings. LG needs to sort this out and make sure the dryer has the option to be calibrated to different home exhausts so it knows whether a blockage actually exists and where it does not.

Disappointed with LG Washer

I double checked level and not wobbly. Everything as far as level and flush to the floor is perfect. It makes a rubbing sound at startup. It damaged my dryer in its violent shaking fit

Electrical short

Last week I put my hand on the top of the dryer to check the clothes and a giant spark shot out of the top of the dryer and burned my hand. I have total tech so exchanging it was easy. I'm just glad my kids didn't touch it and get hurt.

Stressful

When the guys came to install they said they needed different parts than they had on them. They seemed confused then decided they couldn’t do it. We bought the set to replace a stacked set of the same size in a cabinet. The cabinet was definitely built first, so the old set was installed in the space as it is. They said we would have to take apart the cabinetry before they could install, and also tried to say the set wouldn’t fit, even though the dimensions are smaller than what we are replacing. They wanted to leave new appliances but we dont have a garage or anywhere to store them so they finally agreed to take them back. Everyone was nice but the situation was stressful and we couldn’t afford to replace our cabinetry so we ended up cancelling the whole order. I’m wondering now if the install team just wanted an easier job. We seriously considered taking apart our kitchen. Still feeling stressed and unsure how to replace our washer and it needs replaced asap. Unfortunately, the deal we got over Black Friday is also gone. Very stressful and made me lose trust in purchasing from anyone who uses a third party installer. I have no way to know if they are good but I’m hoping to buy them again eventually.

Unit was DOA and Best Buy drops the ball

The installer could not get it to power on. As he left he was on the phone to someone initiating a unit exchange. He said someone would be in touch. 11 days later I have to call Best Buy to find out what's going on. This initiates the actual exchange process as they had no record of the failure. The soonest exchange will be next Tuesday, so not too bad. Luckily we aren't living in the house at the moment but it would be nice if people would do what they say they are going to do.

Dryer return and have to wait over three month

Had to wait over a month for the dryer. Now I have to wait till end of August for the replacement. My old dryer was keft in the middle of my living room.

Leaks water

The front door leaks water while drying on a regular mode (not steam), the door collects a ton of lint you have to wipe it off before getting clothing out, water pours out right after drying is completed when you open the door and clothes are still damp. I hate this thing. The door isn’t recessed enough and doesn’t have a tight seal so water leaks and lint blows out. We had the vent checked to make sure it was appropriately installed multiple times and it is correct. It’s just the dryer is awful. I am so disappointed I bought this thing.
