We have a 4,300 sq ft two story home with out modem in an upstairs bedroom closet. We added 3 of the dual band mesh Linksys Velop nodes, one up stairs and two down stairs and we do not have any weak signal anywhere in the house now. I’m not a tech guy & set up was very easy and nodes are placed out of sight. We have ~8 devices on them, steaming TV And no more buffering. Theses were recommended to me by an IT guy at work. Great product! This is the 2nd set I’ve purchased and installed them in my parents house with the same results.

Already had an earlier generation system with three nodes and saw these go on sale so grabbed them... these two are smaller and work better it seems that the originals... incorporated them into a revised distribution throughout the house... from three to five coverage definitely improved but still not as consistent as I need it to be so just four stars

So far, so good. I purchased this Linksys Velop Mesh Wi-Fi system and it works great. It was on sale for $138.99 and very easy to setup. I bought the two package and I have one upstairs and one downstairs in my house and the Wi-Fi signal is great. I can stand outside and still get a great signal before I just had a Linksys Wi-Fi Extender and I would have a lot of poor connectivity and drop signals. In the future I would probably buy another node to add on to my network since it is so easy to install.

I bought this after my Netgear Orbi died. Netgear support has convinced me to never buy another one of their products but that's a different story. Setup was pretty straightforward. The two units I use as satellites had to be manually joined but that was easy (and Linksys support was great). Ongoing management is super easy and, unlike the Orbi, the Velop can be managed by a computer using a browser (Orbi has a very limited browser console). While a dual radio router is going to be fine for most people, my network is more congested than most. With more than 30 devices on my network, I sometimes find myself missing the dedicated backhaul that my old router had. I've learned my lesson there. Next time, I'll shell out the extra money for dedicated backhaul. I don't fault the Velop that it's not perfect for me but I thought I should point out that for some folks the backhaul issue does make a difference. One thing I very much appreciate about the Velop is how you can use the ethernet ports on the satellites. That helps a bit with wireless congestion as I have one of my streaming devices plugged into the ethernet port. Overall, it's a nice unit that should work great in the typical person's home.

Signal is great and setup was really easy. It is also small and discreet, power indicator is not too bright for a bed room.

This wi-fi extender mesh keeps a sustained adequate speed in an old house serving a tech savvy family and friends. I might consider increasing the speed with my provider due to the proliferation of devices used at home. I recommend this product without hesitation, it is easy to install and testing speeds with the app that works just fine.

I have never been able to get a signal at one end of the house and in the garage. The Velop 3 node pack was easy to install and now reaches those areas with a good signal. I had to move them around before I could get a good signal everywhere. The web site is great and the instructions were simple. Once one is set up the others are quick and simple to set up.

We added these to an existing cable modem / Wi-Fi router, and were generally happy with the improved signal consistency upstairs and at the opposite end of the house. The app was simple to use to check status and initiate resets when necessary.

I went to buy this at first, but then seen another one that said it would do the same thing. Come to find out I returned the other one and bought this one. The price is a little high but you can not go wrong with this mesh system. I have WiFi everywhere I go inside outside and in the basement with this system. Works great with all Ring products and easy to set up. I don’t have any dead zone anywhere anymore. I recommend this to everyone that needs a strong WiFi system in their homes.

Our old router was installed in the basement next to the Utopia box. Lately the TV upstairs had been freezing up. I installed the Linksys router in 5 minutes. So easy. Placed one box in the basement and the other upstairs in the living room. Works awesome. No more freezing TV even with adding three more devices. The box is small and fairly attractive so it was easy to blend it into my decor. I purchased during the Christmas sales so this was an excellent buy.

I'm extremely pleased with this product. Even with a good standard 2 band WiFi router, I kept having drops and slow speeds. Buddy told me about "smart mesh" routers and sent me a link to these on sale. Got it today and wow. What a difference! Finally getting my full internet speed on wifi! My favorite part? My 2nd node allows me to hard wire directly into it via ethernet so I don't have to fuss with WiFi anymore on my gaming PC upstairs! Very happy with this product and super simple setup!

Easy to set up and performs excellently. This three node system is exactly what my household needed, we have a two concrete block structure that has been combined into one, one a single story and the other a two story, making it virtually impossible to get a wifi signal from one end to the other. This 3-node system sends the signal up and over the two interfering concrete block walls and down to the dead spot on the first floor on the two story side.

The user interface and setup process make these perfect for non tech friendly people looking to up the wifi game

How much needed boost of wifi throughout the house

Was very easy to install, every flowed very well. Took the place of the Apple router and just worked very well. Node 1, 2, 3 all went in then firmware upgrade, then haven't needed to touch it. I went back in and played with some of the settings to see what I could do. I created a guest network, locked out some of the devices, figured out the devices were imported and turned them back on (they should name them better than "Android - Nougat"). These are fast, easy to install, and good so far.

I’m not much of a “techy” but I got these and a netgear modem to work with my alarm sys because I was having a delay from when someone would ring the doorbell to the time I would receive the notification. I will say that I’m averaging 425 mbps where as with the modem from Comcast I was lucky to get 40 mbps. Overall there hasn’t been any lagging or dead spots according to my teenage son and I’m also receiving my notifications from the doorbell camera in real time so I’m glad I made these purchases

Linksys Velop solved my Wi-Fi needs in a condo with internal walls of rebar containing concrete. The 3 pack allowed placements to get around these walls for fast, uniform and wide coverage. Installation was easy, but instructions should have noted that 1) all units should be linked, and 2) all account registration and _verification_ , should be completed, before making any firmware upgrade. We are very happy with the performance of the system, and the controls.

Recently set up the Linksys - Velop Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi system. The initial set up was super easy. I had a bit of an issue on day three with the connectivity and I called Linksys support and they were amazing... had me up and running in no time. I had these installed for about a month and no issues. super easy and I was able to eliminate the extender that I had previously, so no more switching to different wifi depending on where I was in the house. Love them!

these have really improved the wifi signal in our home...easy to install and small enough to barely notice in rooms.

Getting all three of the nodes in the correct location throughout the house, we were able to cover the entire house with all the strength needed to have Wi-Fi. A couple of the computers we plug straight into the node so it would get a little faster speed. They are great devices.
