    Balancing price, performance, and convenience.

In my opinion, Logitech has struggled over the past few years to put out a REALLY good headset. I'm talking about a game changing, ground breaking headset that finds the perfect balancing point of performance and convenience at a price most people can afford. Until now. I truly believe the G Pro Wireless Headset is just that. I'm someone who has been anti-headset for a few years now because while they can be convenient, it's never been enough convenience to the point that I was willing to give up so much performance versus standalone headphones with a good DAC/Amp (and of course a separate standalone microphone). That is no longer the case. I won't kid myself (or any of you for that matter) and say that these headphones are better than, or even as good as my standalone headphones (primarily using the Hifiman Sundara w/ a Grace SDAC and SMSL SP200 THX amp these days). But I will say they are good enough that I'm willing to give up some of the extra fidelity and take some trade-offs for how convenient they are. Maybe it's because my needs as a gamer have changed as I get older. I used to exclusively play competitive FPS games (CSGO, Overwatch, etc.). I still play them from time to time but I've also started playing a lot more singles player games as well. But that's neither here nor there, you want to know about these headphones. How they sound, how they perform in game, if the wireless is good and if there are any quirks. Well let's get straight to it then: Positional Audio (foot step tracking in-game): Fantastic. I'm very surprised how good this is on these headphones considering I'm used to open-back headphones with a very wide sound stage. Pin point accurate sound is nothing new to me, but to experience it in a $200 set of wireless closed back headphones is very new and very exciting. It should be noted that I do not use the DTS surround sound function, as it muddies the sound and actually makes the positional sound worse! Any game with a good sound engine will create a surround sound effect most accurately with good old fashioned stereo sound. Think about it... you only have two ears. That's two channels of audio. If the speakers/headphones are sitting directly on your ear, all surround sound is simulated via 2 channels. Your brain actually does the calculations based on how much sound (volume) is being picked up by each ear. This is how it works with speakers in a room and the effect is simulated with stereo sound via a game’s audio engine. My point is that digital surround sound and 7.1 in headphones is more of a marketing thing than a useful feature. The software surround sound in the settings (these headphones included) are not as good as stereo audio when it comes to headphones. You want proof that surround sound w/ headphones only requires stereo audio? Watch this video with headphones on. Close your eyes and listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUDTlvagjJA&t=1s Fidelity (Sound Quality) These are not audiophile headphones by any means, but they are very good for a mass-consumer designed headset. They are v-shaped overall and can be customized via G Hub software equalizer, but they are surprisingly quite good compared to most headsets in this price range (especially "gaming" designated headsets). They do exceptionally well in recreating explosion sounds and gun shots. Voices sound pretty natural too. I would say they are better for movies/games than music but they do an above average job for music as well, especially with some EQ tuning. They seem to be best for certain genres of music… specifically electronic, synthwave/retro/outrun, and just about any type of rock music. When it comes to music, sound is very objective. Everyone has a certain sound they like based on their experiences. What they’ve heard and what type of equipment they have tried. But in terms of equipment capability these are quite good and punch well above their target market/price point. Sound Isolation: Although they do not have any type of active noise cancellation, these headphones do a very good job of blocking out background noises such as washing machines, air conditioning systems, fans or anything else that may be going on in your home. There is an option to enable sidetone in the settings which lets the mic pass through sound so you can hear your own voice when you talk. This is good for helping you keep your own voice volume under control, but unfortunately it does tend to pass along some static noise with so I have this feature disabled for clarity. Fit/Comfort: These headphones are VERY comfortable. My Hifiman Sundaras weigh in right at the same weight around 270 grams, yet these are surprisingly more comfortable. The Sundara is a large over ear style headphone, but the ear holes are round and they do make some contact with the top and bottom of my ears. However they are generally quite light and the weight is well distributed on the head band so until now they were some of the more comfortable headphones I've ever tried. The G Pro X Wireless are even more comfortable. Although they are the same weight, the G Pros feel lighter and fit over my ear better with an ear shaped cup. The cups surround my ears and seal around them rather than resting partially on the tops and bottoms. The seal is very good, yet somehow my ears don't get hot or sweaty even even after a few hours of playing Zombies in COD Cold War with my buddies. They are warmer than the open back headphones I'm used to wearing, but not so warm that they become uncomfortable. The weight is VERY well distributed on these headphones and it shows. This is made even better by the fact it's wireless since I feel no drag when turning my head and don't have to worry about draping cables down my shirt and across my desk. Connection/Reliability: I could not tell a difference between these and wired headphones. The connection was rock solid and completely stable. No interference, cut outs, or disruption. I could even walk down the hall to the kitchen on the other side of my condo to get a drink and still have perfectly clear sound coming through. Logi's light speed technology is industry leading and its no exception here. I’d also like to mention that this headset connects instantly. There is no pairing or waiting for connection, when you turn them on the audio starts flowing right away. Very impressed! Microphone: Probably the least stellar feature of all but definitely "good enough". The Blue voice involvement starts and ends with software, they unfortunately had no hand in the design or implementation of the microphone. The microphone physically is small and easy to manipulate, while also being entirely removable. I would definitely recommend experimenting with the advanced controls because out of the box the mic doesn't sound very good. You can tweak it to sound "good enough" but it is still a small boom mic and doesn't compare to a standalone studio cardioid mic by any means. For the most part, I'm using these headphones with the mic removed in conjunction with my desktop studio-style mic. If you are only using discord and in-game chat for communication, this mic will suffice. The great thing here is that you have the option to supplement with a better mic should you want to do any streaming, podcasts, or just prefer a richer sound. Closing Thoughts: Battery life is very good. Logitech claims 24 hours, and in my testing this seems to be pretty accurate. Charging (USB-C) is also very fast, and the headphones can be used while charging. It would have been nice to see a bluetooth connection but I understand why it wasn’t included at this price point (and it’s really not necessary for a gaming headset). There is also no auxiliary connection, but again not very necessary. It goes back to the trade-offs comment I made before and I think Logitech made the right decisions for this headset to find a great balance of price, performance, and convenience.

Expensive And Missing Features, But AWESOME

I've tried multiple wireless headsets: HyperX Cloud II Wireless, Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, and SteelSeries Arctis 9. The G Pro X Wireless definitely has the best sound. It's not the bassiest headset in the world (the Blackshark takes that crown), but it's natural and crisp sound and it's Blue Voice enabled microphone are hands-down some of the best you'll find at this price point. However, it's missing features like 3.5 mm and Bluetooth that cheaper headphones like the Arctis 9 have and may be dealbreakers for some. But if you those are not dealbreakers for you, you don't mind the price, and wireless is a MUST HAVE, this is the headset to get. At the end of the day, wired headsets will sound much better than most wireless headphones, including these. I'll break down the pros and cons in the following: Pros: - Great build quality - Neutral and professional look - Very comfortable - Natural and crisp sound - Blue Voice enabled microphone is just magic - Fine grain control with Logitech G Hub software - Good directional awareness in video games - Music listening experience is decent - Sounds amazing with Dolby Atmos (see con) - Swappable ear cushions - Fits a variety of head sizes - Battery lasts for at least a few play sessions Cons: - Expensive - No white version?? - No 3.5 mm port - No Bluetooth - No game / chat mix dial - No visual mute indicator - Wireless connectivity at larger ranges and through walls is poor - On the heavier side (but you don't really feel it) - Can feel the drivers in the ear cups if you ears tend to stick out - Can't turn ear cups - Microphone is subpar without Blue Voice (e.g. on Mac) - G Hub software doesn't detect the headset on Mac - DTS sounds terrible - Dolby Atmos cannot be easily enabled (in Windows 10 settings, go to Sound > Output > Device Properties > Spatial Sound > Dolby Atmos for Headphones) Otherwise, if you're looking for other wireless options: - Greatest bang for buck: Razer Blackshark V2 Pro - Solid, no BS, no frills: HyperX Cloud II Wireless - Complete package with all the bells and whistles: SteelSeries Arctis 9 or SteelSeries Arctis Pro

The short version – if you’re looking for a wireless headset of high quality build, great sound, comfortable design all without the traditional “gamer” aesthetic – this might be the one for you. To elaborate, the design is great. Not just visually, but also functionally. Two different sets of ear pads – leatherette and a velour material. The frame and band are a thick metal construction with ample padding. The audio is well balanced, both music and gaming sound fantastic. Sound is clear with adequate levels out of the box. The GHub software gives access to software profiles that let you adjust levels if needed. Nothing earth shattering here, but it’s nice to have. The major shortcoming for me is the removable mic. Sound was flat and not clearest. I would classify it as average at best. Not something you’ll want to use for recording, but good enough for chat. I’m generally a solo gamer but testing quality in calls and chats has confirmed my mediocre first impression. Beyond the mic, this really is an impressive wireless headset. I’m incredibly happy with the overall unit and plan on making it my new go to headset.

Audio quality and mic sound fine. I use it for both my pc and ps5 and sometimes have problems with mic input on the Playstation but other than that no real problems. Switching back and forth can sometimes be annoying because you'll have to plug the headset in to connect it back every now and again. Decent headset, good battery life, pretty comfy. I'd say it's 100% worth it on sale.

Sound Quality: Logitech headphones generally provide good sound quality for their price range. They offer a balanced audio profile with decent bass response, clear mids, and detailed highs. However, the specific sound characteristics may vary depending on the model. Comfort and Design: Logitech pays attention to comfort and ergonomic design in their headphone lineup. Many models feature adjustable headbands, soft ear cushions, and lightweight construction, ensuring a comfortable fit for extended periods of use. The build quality is generally reliable, though some lower-end models may feel more plasticky. Features and Connectivity: Depending on the model, Logitech headphones offer various features such as wireless connectivity (Bluetooth), active noise cancellation (ANC), customizable EQ settings, and on-board controls. Logitech often integrates their headphones with their gaming ecosystem, allowing for seamless compatibility with gaming consoles and software. Battery Life: Wireless Logitech headphones typically offer respectable battery life, allowing for several hours of continuous use on a single charge. The exact battery life depends on the specific model and usage patterns. Price: Logitech headphones are generally considered affordable and provide good value for the price. They offer options across different price ranges, from budget-friendly models to higher-end products with advanced features.

I am very pleased with these headphones. Like many of the reviews state, the bass leaves more to be desired, but is hardly noticeable in games. If you are getting them for music or such, maybe go a little higher end? Other than that, they have a good weight to them, feel super high quality and are extremely comfortable.

For the price it’s definitely a good headset overall. Good sound, comfortable, and battery is life is slightly above average. Only issue I had is that on some pc games the headset would lose audio all together while loading into the match. This is one of the most comfortable headsets I have ever worn. Coming from the Logitech G933's these are a huge improvement in terms of comfort. I do think the G933's have better bass response and a better overall sound quality. The G PRO X seems to not get very loud. That being said the sound quality is still very good and the battery life is phenomenal. The headset build quality seems very sturdy. Not hugely impressed by the mic but it works and sounds decent

Good headphones but they are a bit tight and need to be stretched out over your PC case overnight a few times if you have a big head. The sound is very clear and crisp and the drivers are pretty good for tuning the sound you want, very good range on the wireless and battery is good. Mic could be better quality and if you have a big head and dont stretch out the headphones you can get headaches after long sessions which has me giving this headset a 4/5.

As of right now, this is THE wireless gaming headset. Pros: Default sound qualities are great. Not audiophile great, but definitely a joy to listen to for gaming, music, and media Wireless connectivity is on point. Very long range and so far I've had no issues with choppy connection or lag like with bluetooth USB C charging Cons: The battery dies almost a little too soon every time. The fit is not for everyone, although there are two earcup options which is nice. They're a bit heavy The sound mixer options are a pain to get right. I recommend just using a default The mic is just okay. I wouldn't record a professional video with the mic but that's not what it's for anyway. People online can hear me nice and clear with the right preset. USB C charging. Pro and a con because I like to see Logitech using type C now, but all the other high-end Logitech gear I have is on micro usb so I can't pop this headset on the same charger. I have to dig up a type C cable every time I wanna charge these, which is often Overall these are high build quality with great surround sound, a perfectly fine mic, decent comfort, and great wireless connectivity. Pretty good value for the price. I can see myself replacing these with something with a better mic and a bit more comfort in a couple years. I would have absolutely loved to have noise cancellation, but I guess we'll have to wait for features like that one day. For now let's hope some firmware updates will give me more freedom to mess with the mixer and get a better sound out of these for music and movies.

The build quality on these are amazing. I recently broke my Astro A50's, the sound quality on these are very good but I think Astro has them beat. The A50's are of course much more expensive by $100. The only thing I am not a fan of on the Logitech G Pro X is that the individual speakers do not rotate, I prefer to be able to rotate the speakers to adjust how well they lay around the ears. I love that they use type C to charge, points off the A50's for still using the flimsy slow MicroUSB connection. The claim to have a 20 hour use time on the Logitechs but my software says they are at 80% with estimated use of 20 hours left, and max charge leaves you with 24 hours of use. They feel very well made, as for the microphone I have not tested as I use a blue yeti for my mic and have never been a fan of headset/mic combos. They come with a nice carrying bag a pretty decent length USB C to USB A for charging, a dongle for wireless connectivity which worked immediately no setup required. I have never been a fan of G Hub software but its gotten better over time, you can setup surround sound 7.1 ( not bad for a virtual surround sound setup) a 10 band EQ with the option to download pre made EQ's from the community. That is a feature I LOVED about my Astro's- some people make crazy EQ settings for specific games and you can have 3 presets on a switch to change between your audio settings on the A50's. Side tone is adjustable, and theres a good amount of presets built into the Logitech G Hub for these headphones. I do wish they got a little bit louder.....

For the price point of this headset, it's really a great headset. Not only do I like the audio, but it's one of the more comfortable headsets that I've worn and the battery life is fantastic. I originally bought the Arctis Pro wireless headset and returned it for this headset. One thing that concerns me about wireless headsets is battery life which is why I went with the arctis pro wireless because it comes with two batteries and as you're using one battery, the other is charging on the dock. When I found out that this headset has a 20 hour battery life, I thought as well give it a shot and it indeed has a 20 hour battery life, even greater. The audio out of the box is also great and can even use the preset EQ's and was not disappointed with those either. What's also cool is that you can save profiles for different games so that when you load up certain games, it will automatically load the saved EQ's without even touching the software. The quality of the headset is very good as well. The earcups are attached to the headband by metal and gives it a very durable and strong feel. Adjusting the headset was no problem at all for me, but I know I have seen some other comments saying that they've had a hard time adjusting it to their head. I highly recommend this headset for the casual or serious gamer

Excellent Build and Fit but Missing Stuff

Pros: * Excellent build quality. * Physical power button (slides for on/off). * Mute button with audio feedback. * Comfortable fit. * Includes swappable foam ear pads and carrying pouch. Cons: * Boom microphone has no button or LED for mute. * Provided software doesn’t install on vanilla Windows computer. My Review: For gaming headsets, there are a few must-haves; comfortable fit for wearing during long-duration sessions and great sound quality. This Logitech G PRO X headset does both. The built quality is superb, from the metallic accents on the sides to the simple and sleek metal arms. Unfortunately, that’s where the good stuff ends. The boom microphone is nice enough but unlike some competitors, this microphone is an analog plug so there is no mute button or mute status LED on the boom itself. Sure, there’s a physical push-push button on the left ear to mute the microphone, and you do get a nice audio beep either way, but I prefer the headsets that put these things on the boom itself so I don’t have to feel for one of the several buttons on the ear cup that I can’t see. To get the most out of this headset (similar to others), you need to download and install their G HUB software. After weeks of trying and numerous calls to tech support, the software still doesn’t install on my vanilla Microsoft Surface Book 3 notebook. One would think that the most recent Microsoft-branded notebook would be able to install the software, but nope. The provided USB dongle is a tad large, too. It’s got a USB-A plug and most newer notebooks have USB-C ports, so you might need to find an adapter or hub to plug it into. At least this headset charges with a USB-C cable (provided). Overall, I can’t recommend this headset simply because the software won’t install, tech support couldn’t help, and there are competing products out there with a nicer set of features. The build quality is great, but that doesn’t matter if you can’t use them to their fullest potential.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
