You get plenty of mouse for the price. Excellent sensor, long battery life, low latency wireless. You can modify the mouse weight to 81 grams or lower if you prefer (feel free to google it). Do note that it's one of the smaller wireless gaming mice you can get if that suits your hand size. The feet don't feel as smooth to me than the G Pro Wireless, but those can be replaced if so desired. I still prefer the G Pro Wireless shape, but this is an excellent cheaper alternative. It's all preference though and everyone's mileage will vary.

First off I purchased this mouse in December of 2021 and I’m yet to need to the battery. I’m also using a AAA adapter to lower the weight. The quality of the mouse is overall good and all the buttons feel great. The sensor HERO 12K performs really well and the wireless performance is just as good as the more expensive wireless Logitech mice like the G Pro Wireless and Superlight. My only annoyance with this mouse are the stock feet which are absolutely terrible and very scratchy. The QC could also be better as many units I’ve tested of this mouse have rattle coming from the on/off switch it doesn’t effect usability though.

This simple mouse changed my Tarkov performance overnight. I typically use a heavier and larger mouse for gaming. This isn't too light to handle nor too small to grip. I play with my pinky extended on the desk for support. Simply quick and responsive.
We're glad to hear the G305 is a perfect fit for your playstyle! The lightweight design and responsive HERO sensor are built for precise control in fast-paced games like Tarkov. Thanks for sharing your experience!

I really like this mouse a LOT so far. Been using it about three weeks, and I’m very pleased with the build quality, how small and lightweight it is, and how easy it was to set up. Seriously, it couldn’t have been easier to plug in and get running. Once it was connected to its wireless adapter, the mouse flies. It’s not uncomfortable to hold at all. It glides on my mouse pad because of how light it is. And it doesn’t feel as cheap as I expected it to with this low of a price-point. Overall, worth using if you can’t afford the more expensive Pro mouse ($160 I believe).

Went to a wireless mouse for first time after YEARS on a wired set up, which I didnt mind but the clutter is. So I read up on this one, which I didnt need an all out fancy rgb mouse, just a good performing mouse and this one exceeded my expections and didnt cost alot either. Wireless tech on mouses these days are pretty good found the precision to be just as good as the wired and very good battery life for the high usage I put it through in my gaming sessions. Simple plug and play with the usb bluetooth connector and boooooom you ready to play! Very good mouse and still highly recommend it to this day and its already proven itself
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re thrilled the G305 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Mouse exceeded your expectations with precision, battery life, and easy setup. Your strong recommendation means a lot!

I have two of these mice now. It's my favorite mouse I've ever used. It has the perfect feel in the hand. It's nice and small. I use it for work, gaming, and music production. It is very responsive and precise. I do wish the side buttons were a little bit bigger, and I've had issues with connectivity if the receiver is behind something. You definitely want to use the extender that comes with it and place the receiver somewhere within line of sight. It is a very fast wireless mouse, but the signal can be a little bit finicky. The battery life is outstanding. I put a single AA in this thing and it lasted like 6 months of working 8 hour days. The bang for buck with this thing is really outstanding.
Hey there Jerry, thank you so much for this great review of the G305! If you haven't done so already, feel free to download our GHub software, which should allow you to further customize the mouse with custom button mapping, and DPI profiles. Thank you for choosing Logitech!

I fully understand, some people want THE lightest mouse on the market, but I like the comfort of a gaming mouse that only needs me to pop in a battery every month and have zero worries about charging it like my phone, or worse when the battery that is built in can not hold a charge any more, this avoids that problem.
So it is light, but not as light as it can be, I also got it on sale with a special coupon at the time of writing, 20% off for handing them a used mouse to recycle (in-store only).

Best mouse for the price. Lightweight but not too much. Battery life is super long (I forget to turn it off all of the time and it hasn't died in months).
Thanks for the awesome review! We're so glad the mouse is hitting that sweet spot—lightweight, reliable, and impressively long-lasting. It’s great to hear it’s keeping up with your gaming without missing a beat. Enjoy every click!

I went ahead and purchased this logitech G305 mouse on a whim because I could not find the little USB to go to my more expensive logitech wireless mouse. Giving the price is very affordable, don't let this fool you into thinking it's cheap or laggy, and slow. It's quite the opposite actually. I wish I had bought this sooner over my more expensive one. Its lightweight and PERFECT for FPS games. Absolutely love this mouse and I had to give it a 5 star. I have had zero issues with it and its incredibly easy to use!
Thank you for your amazing review of the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED mouse! We're thrilled to hear that it's exceeded your expectations and outperformed your more expensive mouse. Your positive feedback means a lot to us as we continue to provide exceptional products that elevate your gaming experience.

Mouse worked flawlessly for 3 years. No issues great smooth motion. Lightweight and perfect performance. One day it just died, followed all on line workaround and nothing. It would not pair no matter what I tried. New batteries, uninstalled LG HUB and nothing. But with these issues this is still the best bang for your buck mouse hands down.Cant beat the price for the performance. I will be buying another.
Thanks for your feedback on the G305. We're sorry to hear about the issue. It's great to hear that you were satisfied with its performance for three years.

For what your paying, going with anyother mouse is a waste of money. You get multiple different colors for the same price, 8k polling rate, and upto 32,000 dpi. Overall, i think it is a amazing mouse.

So it's been two months so far and I will say. . . definitely my favorite.
I've used a bunch of Logitech G mice before, such as the G903, G703, G502, and G Pro, and while they were all wonderful mice, they each had their own set of issues (double-clicking on the G903, scroll-wheel on the G703, and Micro-USB for all of them, including the G Pro).
If you hate the idea of having to charge a wireless mouse that you constantly use, then the G305 can fix that problem for you.
Sure, while not as lightweight as some other wireless options out there since it uses a AA battery, you can mitigate the weight by using either a Lithium AA battery, OR getting one of those battery cap adapters and using a Lithium AAA (could also use foil as some people do. You'll still get A LOT of hours regardless, definitely more than you would with those mice you have to recharge. Heck, you could even get rechargeable AA or AAA batteries to save money over time if you're into that since you wouldn't have to buy batteries as constantly.
Only thing about it is that it comes with those black stock skates since it technically is an older mouse, while other mice come out with some nice PTFE skates (would recommend watching YouTube videos on that).
Sensor is great, uses the same sensor that other Lightspeed G mice use, so tracking is no issue.
For the price, it's worth it. If you can snag it on sale though, even better.

A very promising mouse for both gaming and productive work. Battery life is stupid efficient, so no complaints there. It's comfortable for long term use with a very ideal weight. My only complaint is the scroll wheel; it is not at all as fluid as I would prefer, it clicks with every roll, but after some use, you simply grow used to it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a decent wireless mouse.

10/10 mouse. The mouse is amazing. Super responsive, amazing connectivity, and all around good to use. I haven’t had any problems with it. I’ve been daily driving this mouse for 3 months now and haven’t had to change the batteries once. The side buttons are nice and slim so you don’t accidentally press them and the build quality is great. Considering the price, this mouse is a must buy

Good Mouse, Cheap Thumb Buttons

Great, lightweight mouse with a long battery life. The one major downside was that the side/thumb buttons weren't of good quality and only lasted about 1-2 years before becoming unusable. Now the left click button is becoming unresponsive but this is after 4 years of frequent daily use unlike the occasional use of the thumb buttons.

I was honestly going to get one of the more expensive Logitech gaming mice, but the reviews of people who actually bought this really convinced me to save a few bucks and not bother with the risk of the others going bad. This mouse is glorious. I'm coming from the Wave combo so it's pretty different. It is super accurate and very fast. I love the lightness, it's not TOO light like a wired optical I had a while back. It glides wonderfully, so much so that I actually pushed it right off the mouse pad, although I just installed a keyboard tray so I'm still getting used to this set up. The DPI button on top works wonderfully, and the software you get from their website does, too. If there is ONE thing, well, two, there are TWO things I would complain about. The first is the loudness of the clicks. It's a lot louder than my old mouse, but my wife doesn't hear anything and that's what this is all about at the end of the day: not driving your loved ones crazy. The second is the lack of a tilt scroll, but that almost seems to be standard now and that's ridiculous. Love the side scroll! Sure, you can just press "shift" and scroll and it'll happen but I miss that little part of the old mouse. Otherwise, I love the spacing on the side buttons, they are perfect for me. Web browsing is a lot easier than it was before! And no RGB! Is that good? Probably? My hand is usually on the mouse so I don't see much of a point to having it light up at all. To each their own. This mouse rules.
