    Great programmable remote

I have been a repeat customer of the Logitech Harmony programmable remotes because it is worth it to me to consolidate all my remotes and be able to hit one programmed button per application. I currently have the Logitech Harmony Ultimate One remote for my main video/audio multimedia entertainment system and I have recently purchased the Logitech Harmony Touch remote for my multimedia entertainment system in my workout room. There are two main differences between the Logitech Harmony Ultimate One and the Harmony Touch other than price (Touch is usually cheaper than the Ultimate). The Ultimate touch screen wakes up (comes out of sleep/power conserving mode) with motion versus having to touch the screen on the Touch. Also, the Ultimate has touch vibration feedback when you touch a button on the touch screen.and the Touch does NOT have this vibration feedback. Since I use a treadmill in my workout, I bought the Harmony Touch for the sole purpose it doesn't wake-up due to motion and you literally have to touch the screen to wake it up.The Harmony Ultimate remote will always stay on ( won't go in to sleep mode to conserve battery usage) when placed on the treadmill due to the vibration created from running on the treadmill.. Programming the Harmony Touch was pretty easy since I am familiar with programming the Harmony Ultimate. The Logitech Harmony Remotes are not cheap by no means, but if you can buy it on sale, then it is well worth consolidating multiple remotes (5 remotes in my case) into one Harmony remote and being able touch one programmed button to turn on all pertinent audio/video equipment and automatically set each piece of equipment to their corresponding settings. Prior to the Harmony remotes, my wife had problems when it came to using my audio/video entertainment system. If you want to make it easy for your wife, buy her a Harmony remote.

I purchased this remote as a replacement for an earlier version Harmony remote just to get an updated product and the sale price was great ($100). I would not have done this at the regular retail price. The remote feels good in your hand and is easy to work with. I was especially pleased that my online account device information for the old remote easily transferred to this new remote. What a time saver. The product is well designed and the color screen easy to read.

Harmony was easy to set up. Just make sure you follow all of the instructions! I was able to eliminate 5 remotes with just one Harmony! It was pricey so I waited for a Best Buy deal of the day and got it at a reasonable price.

I love this remote. It is fun and cool to use. The drawbacks are the price (I had some reward zone credit and gift cards that brought the price down for me) and the battery life can get pretty bad with a lot of use of the touchscreen but this is a great remote.

After Geek Squad set-up, this remote handles all of the options and features with our new tv--sound, blu-ray, internet access, even an old video player for kids' movies--with no trouble. The sliding screens and touch pad like a smartphone make it intuitive to use, also. It was a bit expensive and we had the professionals set it up, making it more expensive, but worth it so far!

This remote is a great solution to having many remotes and it makes it simpler for everyone to be able to use the a/v equipment without really having to understand exactly how everything works together. Set-up is okay, but with way too much back-and-forth if you need to change things. I'd give it a five-star if it wasn't so expensive, or if the set-up software was better.

I control a Denon pass thru with 5 devices. Works well and is simple to use. The only drawback is the price. For what you'll spend it would be easy to use the factory remotes. I read numerous bad reviews on the cheaper model so I shelled out the extra for this one. I wouldn't consider this remote to have a lot of value, but it cool to have.

The remote is a solid one. The only problems I have is where buttons are located and a lot of times you have to use both hands. I feel the remote is priced about $100 more than it should be. In hind site I would have got a remote that was cheaper and does the same thing.

We purchased this because we trust logitech, and use a computer to run our t.v. off antenna and many other av equipment. Unforunatley it hasn't worked right yet for what we wanted, the almost 300.00 price tag is pretty high but the offer best buy had at the time we thought was worthit

This one is to replace a 900 that I've had for several years. It performed great despite a dog trying to eat it when it was pretty new. Just wanted to update for the touch screen. Like the charger on this one better, too. Pricey for a remote, but it does a lot, if you can afford it.

Really great remote. I wish it would boot up my system a little faster. Feels a little weird pointing the remote at my system for the time it takes to boot everything up. Kinda pricey too but it's really one of the best programmable remotes out there.

I have had many Logitech remotes over the years. The previous version of this remote was much better. The fact that this stopped working after a few weeks is a big disappointment considering, especially, how expensive it is. A $10 remote would work as well. I will be returning this as soon as I can (since it is useless).
