Reminds me of old Heinz commercials
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your too young remember them, they had an ad campaign called anticiaption and it was about how slow the ketchup is to come out of the bottle. I truly tried to love this remote, even spent time on the phone with Logitech support but this thing is laggy! The touch screen is also not very fluid from a response standpoint. Wanted to replace my Harmony One with this remote but no thank you, I'll stick with what I have!

Great style not so great functionality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to consolidate some remotes and liked the idea of selecting for ex "watch tv" "listen to music" etc and have everything up and running at a touch of the touch screen. Unfortunately not everything tuns on as it should and then you have yo shuffle back and forth to each components control to separately activate sound-bar tv selection DVD etc oddly when pointed to my streaming music center which has it's own speaker and tuner the sound-bar for tv starts up and later if I choose "watch tv" the soundbar gets out of sync and will not start. Additionally sometimes the touchscreen just does not respond to touch. Great idea and look but kinda through my money out the window on this one..

Logitech Harmony that's not Logical or Harmonious
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a huge disappointment, I love Logitech, they make excellent porducts but this was disappointing. The biggest issue with the control is the layout of the buttons, honestly makes no sense and I think they realized that because the new model went back to the previous design that was nearly flawless. This is a huge problem especially if youre a DVR user. Save your money and go with the new one, Model: 915-000256

Why did they get rid of the Harmony One?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned three Harmony Ones until recently when my wife put her knee through the display. BB had this on sale and it seemed like the evolution of the One so I gave it a shot. Hands down if the One were still available this would have gone back. If you look at the design, you see the frequently used buttons like play pause etc are at the top, above the touchscreen. I didn't think this would be a problem, but it is when you do something button intensive like watching a DVR. You can do those commands with the touchscreen but it is slow to react. The other issue is they changed the software you use to program the remote and made it less customizable. BOTTOM LINE-skip this remote unless somebody broke your other one. Logitech if you read these, PLEASE bring back the One.

My 5th And Last ...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a fan f the Logitech "Touch" remotes; however, after getting this one - I think my fondness has come to a screeching halt. The software updates in the MyHarmony software have been so bad for this series that all my remotes are operating incredibly slow (mind you, I operate five televisions on five separate Logitech remotes) that I am on the verge of getting rid of all of them and looking for a new brand. I've purchased these since their first release (I think my first one was $350!) and have always been so happy with them -- but I cannot give it a glowing review as in the years past.

Neat but too slow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lots of really cool functions but everything is just too slow. If i press watch a movie yes it will turn on my tv, and stereo and player but it takes so long i might as well just get up and do it all myself. Also does not connect to blue tooth devices without buying more equipment :(

Great Idea, poor design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was to replace my previous Logitech 610 Remote. The off button is in a very bad location (at top). When trying to turn off, other keys are touched causing other activities to start Touch screen is very sensitive, that when "reaching" for another button, touching the screen activates macros that causes disruptions in the current operation. Would only recommend to people with small fingers and light touch. I returned this and continue to use my previous Logitech Universal remote 610.

Harmony One was better!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the Harmony Touch is smaller than the Harmony One, I don't like the location of the control buttons, difficult to use. Also, this remote is slippery along the edges, very dangerous to handle. A lot of issues for $250, I paid half the amount for the Harmony One. Setup was easy though.

Not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Liked the idea of an all-in-one remote but this Logitech Touch wasn't consistently responsive to touch commands. Ended up taking it back. After trying it, went on-line to find info & reviewers at CNET & PC Mag said the touch screen wasn't responsive all the time so it wasn't the user, although that's what the Geek guy tried to tell us. When he showed us how to use it 'correctly', it didn't respond to his touch command either.

Can't depend on commands working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is a problem that Logitech did not create, but they can't fix either. Commands from any remote (these are IR based) tells equipment what to do (turn on, turn off, change channel, etc.). The problem is the remote does not get any feedback that the equipment heard. The human is the feedback - if it didn't turn on, you hit the command again. Logitech stacks multiple commands under one button, possibly talking to multiple equipment (turn on tv, turn on DVR, set tv input to DVR, go to list and play #3, or whatever). If one of those commands gets skipped (like the TV took too long to turn on and missed the command to change the input), then the entire sequence after that is meaningless or confusing to the equipment. AND THE REMOTE HAS NO WAY OF KNOWING THIS so it can't be smart enough to resend commands - the human has to laborously resend them individually. So, pretty design on the remotes, but functionally they are more trouble than they are worth. You're better off getting a cheap remote that can simulate each piece of equip. you have and you manually do the commands, one at a time.

I loved my original Harmony ONE, over this remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to rearrange the devices list on the remote. You are able to rearrange the remotes activities on the remotes screen, however not the devices order. I used the email tech support, and couldn't get an answer to my question. After several emails, I never heard anything back, so I waited and waited, and then days later I called Logitech for an answer. I was told the remote does not have that feature I was hoping for, and that the tech guy who was handling my case number had gone on vacation, and was out of the office, and that is why I never heard back from Logitech. Really? I was amazed at that answer from another person I spoke to at Logitech in tech support. It does what it is supposed to do, however they could have fine tuned it's features alittle more. I just wish my old Harmony One Remote had not died, I liked it much better.

Nice device but wasnt worth the money for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this thinking it would be a big step up from the voice command remote I already had from Comcast. It really wasn't worth all that extra money so I ended up returning it. My Comcast remote already turns on my TV and receiver and controls the receiver volume. I mainly wanted the Logitech remote to change my TV presets and to power on/off my devices as I switch between different inputs. It cant do anything for the Nintendo switch since it doesn't have any IR capabilities so that was one problem still unsolved. When I switched to my apple TV it would power it on but once I switched to something else it wouldn't power it back off which was annoying. So it ultimately would only run by TV, receiver and Xbox which my Comcast remote already did 2 of those 3 so I returned it. IT was more cumbersome to use while viewing cable than my Comcast remove anyway. Cool idea, just not the most practical device when there are some pretty sweet remotes out there from cable providers you get for free.

Great as an idea, poor execution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote has a lot of great features that I'd like to use, but the delay in doing anything on the remote and the terrible touch screen interface make this thing one of the worst remotes yet. I returned this, since it was easier to just use my 3 remotes than waiting for this device to send any command.

Not so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Poor Ergonomics, not nearly as user friendly as past harmony remotes, poor design, have to press a button for remote to light up as opposed to past remotes which light up with movement(a key feature). I've had three prior harmony remotes and this one does not stack up.

Not bad, but other Harmony devices are better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are other Harmony remotes that are more capable than this one. Okay if you don't need that much flexibility,

Harmony One or the RF version is more usable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really looking forward to this remote coming out. The charging stand is great and the price is pretty good but I hate the layout. I bought this remote to replace a Harmony One and tried to use it for 3 weeks but absolutely could not get use to it. I dislike the new display. Swiping through each activity one by one is painful. The guide button is too low on the remote and difficult to use with one hand. There is no more auto light when it detects motion, you have to press the screen. Typing numbers on the LCD is a hassle.

Quality remote, poor layout
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Harmony remote, the first being a Harmony One which I had for close to a decade. I thought the Touch would be an adequate replacement, but it's just not. It's built well enough, and I got it on sale, but will probably replace with something designed intelligently. My biggest gripe is the layout. All of the playback controls are above the touchscreen, which often results in accidental touches on the screen when trying to hit Play, FF, etc. Other issues include missing motion activation, soft keys (activities and favorites) not backlit, bad "off" button location, and lack of programming customization. The touch screen is pretty great, although the gesture feature can be sluggish. Programming was simple for me, better than old the One. Battery life isn't great and the battery isn't replaceable.

poor size of touchscreen i returned it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have children's hands with little fingers you can use this remote very easily. Returned it because I couldn't change channels easily, use the guide easily, or toggle between options very well.

Good idea
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a universal remote that costs over $200. I have a projector and TV setup in a room and with the amount of machines running this would have been nice to easily control everything on a couch or chair but the tranceiver doesnt connect usually, it needs to be pointed to what you want to use and the range is pretty low. It does has a cool feature you can have everything turn on together but overall this remote is decent, would have expected something as expensive as this to have better communications equipment. Also, makes an annoying buzzing sound, its not loud but if you have good hearing you will pick up on it.

Not for me...However
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The idea behind this remote is no secret... 1 button to accomplish a 3+ remote task. In doing so strange things happen... If a device involved in the task fails to catch the signal, pressing help could end up being one of the most pressed buttons.....(then press fix and it typically resolves the issue). I'm sure we are all aware that certain devices need a more direct remote InfraRed aim the others... and this is where the miss fires happen but if all your devices are willy nilly IR aim friendly then NO WORRIES
