Purchased a new HP Notebook over the holidays and tried to only use the touchpad, but I'm old school and really needed a mouse. This Logitech M705 is ergonomic, medium sized and feels good in the hand. Set up took less than a minute. I like the hyper scrolling, but mouse is smooth either way. No issues with this mouse.

Product is excellent. Support is lousy at the Manchester CT store. I inquired on whether this mouse was compatible with my Mac book Air both when I bought it and on a subsequent visit and was told that it was. No mention was made that I needed an adapter to make it work. This was important and necessary information that needs to be communicated to the buyer especially if questions are being asked. It took a call to Logitech support and a return trip to the store to figure stuff out Thanks to Steven at the Manchester store for this assistance and purchase of the adapter from his own pocket. Not necessary but totally appreciated

My old Logitech mouse went out on me after a few years. So, I decided to buy a new one but wanted to stick with Logitech. I looked at a lot of them but this one stood out. The price was a little higher than I originally planned to pay for but I went for it anyway. First of all, this is the smoothest scroll I’ve ever had on a mouse. There is a button near but below the scroll wheel. Click it once your scroll has notches where you have a little tension when you’re scrolling. Click it again it’s so smooth you can’t hear a thing. Left and right click buttons are loud. So if you’re looking for a silent click this one isn’t for you. Batteries do come with this. Also, if you think they didn’t give you the usb receiver, it’s inside the battery compartment in the mouse. So far the batteries have lasted and I’ve had it on for 3 weeks straight now. That means I have yet to turn the mouse off yet. But to be fair I should mention The computer doesn’t get used a lot. So the batteries might drain faster if you use it more often. I prefer to use rechargeable batteries, but I’m using the ones that came with the mouse to test. After these drain I’ll stick my rechargeable ones in, which should last longer anyway.

You get programmable buttons Control the speed of the mouse and get a notification on your computer when the batteries are running low. No more guess work! I have had carpal tunnel surgery and I have to say that this is comfortable to use both left and right handed. By default it's set for right hand. Goto the link that's on the paperwork inside it and install the software. Makes programming the keys simple too.

I've always been a big fan of Logitech mice. This one is probably my favorite. I have mid-sized hands and it fits perfectly in my hand. There is a small button on top just below the scrolling wheel that changes the scroll from a fluid, rapid scroll to a more precise, clicking type scroll. It also has a large button on the thumb side (which you don't even realize is there, that's really handy.

I bought this for my son, He uses his computer as much as I do and hes always asking for batteries. A good battery last me about 1.5 years. No Lie. I love the ergonomics of this. I use all buttons, I set up a forward and back. Biggest is I set up an undo. click it and its like it never happened. I need it, use it only second to the left click.

I find this mouse to deliever the best of both worlds. The ergonomics of this mouse fit my hand perfectly. Being able to switch the precision of the scroll wheel (either free spinning or with resistance) is its biggest selling point for me as different programs call for different levels of sensitivity. It sips on its battery and is very durable.

This mouse was a great buy that I truly recommend for someone who needs something for on the go. The mouse can be small enough to pack into any bag and its wireless so that's always a great thing. It also has an ergonomic design which is great to handle any strain you might get from prolonged use.

The mouse is fantastic. It actually does have an insane battery life: the application keeps reading 1000+ days. The fit and finish is solid; it fits my palm / claw hybrid grip well. Sensor looks solid: it's gliding just fine on top of a leather-covered desk. It uses 125Hz polling (likely for battery life); works fine on my 60Hz monitor. The scroll wheel's dual modes are fantastic. Very smooth <-> ratchet. And no, my fingers have never accidentally switched modes. Yes, the USB transmitter can be hidden inside the mouse underneath the battery cover (there's a slot for it). The little "sensor" button on the bottom left (that activates an "alt-tab" like interface in Windows 10) is HUGE for productivity. Really useful, when you have 10+ windows open. All in all, a solid mouse. Light enough to be mobile, heavy enough to feel to feel solid in hand. The negatives: in the beginning, I used to side scroll accidentally instead of middle-clicking. Side scroll doesn't seem to work in most places, so I just reassigned it to forward-back on websites. Now, I'm much more "precise" with middle click vs left scroll vs right scroll. Otherwise, I love it! :D

This mouse is excellent. With AA batteries, it lasts much longer than previous AAA battery systems. There is an odd problem I have found with this product, namely that the side padding tends to separate from the body of the mouse. I use a small piece of double stick tape and the problem is completely resolved - but this is a surprising shortcoming in design. That said, this mouse is so good, I just purchased a second for my wife who needed a replacement - she is delighted.

This is my third M705 mouse since 2013 and is still one of my favorite in terms of form factor for desktop use. I find the MX Master mouse a bit bulky and the MX Anywhere (which I have) to be great for portability but a bit short/flat for my hand. The M705 fits my hand perfectly and is the most comfortable mouse I have and I prefer it over my MX series (full size and original Anywhere) mice for work. Battery life is excellent and I actually don't remember the last time I changed the batteries. I only wish Logitech would keep the same form factor and update it to include bluetooth, ability to use on multiple computers, and the ability to use anywhere (like on glass). i would gladly pay more for a more fully featured model. Otherwise, this is definitely my favorite mouse amd one of the best in terms of value and comfort for me and a good choice for those who do not want to spend $100+ on a mouse. If you are considering one of the cheaper mice, pay a little more and get this one. I have cheaper Logitech mice at the office and the difference is noticeable enough that I paid for this one myself out of pocket.

nice ergonomics. Not as accurate as my other logitech mice, and thus I have to come back on the computer screen to accurately hit small areas to activate with a click. Other than that, a good budget mouse.

By far the most comfortable mouse I have used for non-gaming purposes. The battery life is very long (my other mouse is two years old going on the same batteries with daily use). The smooth vs click scroll is a great feature and the mouse shape is very ergonomic and comfortable.

I love this mouse. I used one all the way through college, lost it, and bought another one exactly the same to replace it. I like that the scroll wheel can toggle b/w endless spin and staggered spin. Fits my hand size pretty well and has a few extra buttons on the side which I like to use for games.

Logitech - Marathon Mouse M705 Wireless Laser Mous

The best mouse I have ever had! This is my second time owning one after almost 7 years. Because of the 1000 dpi laser, works on any surface: glass; rough wood; sofa cloth; vinyl covered -slightly loose, as in an old desktop- cloth surface, etc. The battery -depending on use- can last longer than the rated 3 years, as it did with me. Love the hyper-scrolling feature for those long pages. One can use the "ratcheting feature" or just the smooth scrolling. Comes with adaptable buttons for productivity, etc. The "Unifying Receiver - USB dongle- is unobtrusive /barely visible on the side of the laptop, was able to add my wireless Logitech keyboard to work with this receiver. Got the item on sale this time around, but when this first came out, it was worth the full price of $50.

This mouse is comfortable in the hand and has great features! Forward and back buttons, left and right side scroll as well as two modes for up and down scrolling. It has assignable buttons and the AA batteries last a looooooong time, not weeks, not months..... I'm talking a year or more!
