This is our second Magic Jack--one for our home phone and one for the business. We travel to Mexico regularly and this allows us to stay in touch and never miss a call or message. The quality is fine and the continuity in our connection makes it well worth the price and effort.

I bought this for my vacation home. Why pay the phone company for a land line?! You do have to have internet. I liked it there and thought why do I still have a land line at home. Cut that bill off again still have to have internet to connect the Magic Jack. The first year of service is in the purchase. Super low cost. It's worth it.

Magic JackGo gives you a year of telephone service for $35 bucks which includes the Device. I think you can call Canada free and if you are not home, it will send you an Email when someone calls. You can have it forward the call to your Cell Phone as well. I have had Magic Jack Service for the last ten years, it works great.

This has been a great product. A situation arose where we had to have a phone other than a cell. I did not want to pay the outrageous prices of phone company. The magic jack was my answer. The calls are clear and we have had no issues at all with it. If I still need a home phone after my first year, I will definitely re-up with them.

A couple of months ago, I bought magic jack and started using it. I’m very happy with the service and voice quality and the savings I’m getting by switching to magic jack. Wish I had switched years ago. I am paying $39.99 for a year. I ported my old number, so that was a one time extra charge.

Cheap,portable phone equipment, must have good internet connection

Works well, however long distance calls overseas are sometimes noisy with frequent dropouts.

Bought the MJ to be used for an 800 number. Found out this cannot be done. So I cancelled my AT&T fax number at $40.00 a month for 2 or 3 calls and installed the MJ. Works perfectly. I will get another when my triple play contract with Time-Warner runs out. Very happy. ltaxi66

Did not have any problems installing and activating the Magic Jack I purchased. So far, it has worked perfectly.

Love the fact that there's mo monthly bill. Have never had an issue with dropped calls.

The best I can say for majicjack is that it works. I can make and receive calls. I traded a much more expensive Vonage service for majicjack, and so got a much lower price. But, I traded away excellent call quality. Since I don't use the phone that much, I won't switch back. But I don't recommend this service if you really use the phone a lot and need great call quality.
