I like the feature where by you get a free cellphone application to go with. Very handy.

I don't use Magic Jack as my primary phone, but even as a secondary line for specific usage, I haven't had any issues. More than the phone itself, I use it as an app on my tablet to be able to make calls from my Wifi tablet. The sound quality and calls have been clear. The ability to send SMS is great as well.

I've been using MagicJack for several years, and the unit I was using was old enough that it needed to be updated for compatibility with newer operating systems. I timed my purchase well, and by upgrading, also extended my service for a year, while saving money. Very useful, highly recommended.

Having "cut the cable" including the telephone, I needed a device that was inexpensive yet efficient. While I seldom use a landline to chat, I do need to send a fax from time to time, and I'm not interest in online fax products. Magic Jack fit the bill! Easy to set up and so far, it works like a charm.

Disconnected our AT&T service and went to this. This is great. Very cheap yearly payments for something you probably rarely use.

It really works for long distance calls at no extra cost to you.

Why to pay a lot of money for the phone service? I recommend to everybody to buy the Magic Jack, and enjoy the one year service only for $35!!! PER YEAR!!!!!!

Purchased this for a friend in another country so they can call back to the states. Seems to work well

Works great, but you can't call 911 or 311 or some other numbers in this format. Sometimes it doesn't work when you have to follow prompts ( press "1" etc.) , so if you need to make a phone call using prompts it's better to use cell phone. Very good for regular phone calls, no complaints so far.

ordered for my daughter as a solution to have a house phone at a very reduced price.

This was pretty easy to install and set up. I went online and chose a new number too. Works just like the cable company phone - over the internet. The cable company wants about $39 monthly for a phone. I now have MagicJack which is like paying for 1 month and getting 11 months free!

Magic Jack is very efficient for staying in touch with family members that live overseas. It's the same as calling a friend that lives across the street from you. The main requirement is internet connection.

take about 5minutes to setup and work right away. Porting number took about 5days, to be safe I turned on Call FWD. This feature seems like only available on website not on Android app. After setup the mobile app, and go back to website switch on FWD, it will ring both magicjack and cellphone.

I personally love this device and I referred more than 10 people.
