    It’s ok I’ve had it for less than a month. 3 times when powering on the sound has failed to come on. Only by powering down and powering on again was I able to get sound back

    The Cinema 50 provides high quality sound with plenty of power for any Home Theater. It was easy to set-up with the on-screen menu that walks you through your speaker configuration. The receiver provides great picture quality to my display. Works as advertised using Ultra high-resolution cables. I am very pleased and would recommend this AVR receiver to all.

    AVR integrates well with Sony Bravia TV, ceiling speakers (3 front, 2 rear, and subwoofer. Make sure you have the best HDMI cable available….

    Failure after 37 months. 36 mo. warranty

    I purchased a Marantz SR6015, similar model to the Cinema 50, in November 2021 from Best Buy. Thirty-seven months later, it began to freeze and would not unfreeze without unplugging it, only to have it freeze again. Reloading the firmware did not solve the problem. Maratnz's warranty department refused to fix it. Evidently, a 36 month warranty means 36 months of expected life. Be prepared to buy another brand if you would like to have a company that stands behind their product quality.
