At first glance, the computer seemed awesome. However, I get several error messages a day which require a restart. I have the item with Geek Squad now - hopefully there is an easy fix and that I don't have issues long-term.

Microsoft surface book Is easy to use and is touch screen.

I've had the computer for about 3 months now and not had any issues. The screen resolution is great, the tablet functionality is excellent and I generally could only be more pleased if the computer was cheaper. It's also surprisingly sturdy... I caught my 35LB 2 year old jumping on it, and thought it would be broken, but its still like new.

Buyer beware; I should have headed the one-star negative reviews and saw the warning signs, but instead I decided to give the Surface Book a plus thousand-dollar chance. Repeated manufacturer warranty exchanges, poor customer service, and hardware that is the most glitchy. Do not buy this product unless you have money to throw away; you will be left with a half working laptop for most of its life. If the Surface book were a color, it would that of the red lines you would find on a “do not enter” sign after you just paid admissions to your favorite theme park not even getting to ride any rides after waiting in line for an hour. Then when you work up the courage to get it exchanged for another unit (refurbished only, they will never replace with a new one), via under warranty, they will only send you another half working unit every time—rinse/repeat. Rose are red, violets are blue, and yet this is going to be my best review. Microsoft support has, without a doubt, the most nonreliable return process ever. Not even into the second year of the unit’s life, I forgot about a six hour drive in order to get it serviced at a Microsoft store; or the fact that when I made the drive across state lines, as I was two hours on my trip back home, the store representative replaced with the wrong surface book (i.e. they had no idea between an Intel i5 and i7—big price difference). No apologies. If I had to pick the largest electronic investment for the worst review, it would be the Microsoft Surface book because now I’m stuck with another bad screen digitizer and so may YOU!

I did my homework and I made the right decision in buying the Surface Book. It is an outstanding piece of equipment. The price was very attractive. Best Buy is great. They price matched the Microsoft Store price which was quite less than the in-store price.

I am an Apple fanboy and I really enjoy this Surface Book! I tried to Surface Pro 2, in the past, and it was okay. This has made me not want to use my iPad for meetings; which is a big deal, because I love my iPad Pro. Great product and excellent quality.

I've had this computer about a month now and everything works as it should but i've experienced sometimes the touch screen can go out and i have to reset the whole computer to get it back up and running

Great laptop but find it sometimes gets stuck in a pwlowered on sleep mode by the display won't resume. Forces me to hard reboot it. Mousepad is also not the best.

Bought this because my old computer broke and decided I needed an upgrade. I decided on this because it was great for a fashion class, I can design my outfits on here which is a major plus.

By far the best computing device I've purchased. The features and functionality are top notch. This is a long term machine. It is pricey but in line for a top of the line machine.
