Very good classy laptop with high performance delivered for price

I exchanged the surface studio for this tablet because I like how light it is and the resolution is better. Comparing to macbook it is also a touchscreen. Also best resolution among all window laptop. I also wanted a surface that can also work as a computer. However it gets hot quite quickly especially when running many desktop at the same time (only desktop, not even game or other programs). It's only a month old but today the screen froze! I am kinda disappointed and want to return it but it already passed the return deadline. I wonder how long this tablet will last. I will get the surface studio once its resolution is improved. This tablet's resolution is more comparable with macbook's retina display.

Bought this to run coding programs on Python after my work laptop started to take a dive. The processor is extremely fast and the laptop itself is extremely sleek. Bought the signature keyboard and slim pencil to go with it.

Definitely faster than my Surface Pro 7, but crashes intermittently when using GotoMeeting (which I use frequently) and I can't figure out if the problem is Windows 11 or the Surface Pro hardware. This didn't happen before with the Pro 7, except after a few years, it would also overheat and crash - perhaps due to the fan not always kicking in. Not sure if the same thing will happen with Zoom. If you don't need the regular video-conferencing, then it is fast than other Surfaces. Also, if you get the new flat pen, make sure to get a charger or the new keyboard since you can't use it without one of those.

I love my Microsoft Surface Pro 8. It's a perfect all-around device that more than adequately functions as a laptop, a desktop computer, and tablet. If you only want one device for your computing needs, this is a solid way to go.

Ive been thinking of getting a Microsoft Surface Pro for a few years. But i finally pulled the trigger on an open box Surface Pro 8. I really like it a lot. It's just a great with the ability to use it equally well as a tablet or a laptop by connecting a keyboard and mouse. I particularly like the 3:2 aspect ratio which just provides a much better space for documents. I also upgraded the SSD from 128 gb to a 1 TB ssd for not too much. Its an easy upgrade and I'm not a computer technician at all. Its good to have a lot more storage.

The new surface is great. It’s fast and light weight. The display is more than 60hz which playing games is fun on. During fast pace games it is smooth, but I play on low settings.

Love the design, sturdy kick stand, light yet performs so well…purchased with keyboard/pen combo and they match the productivity so much!!!

this is a good product for travel and portability. please do not buy as a tablet bc it is terrible but it is a good portable device for hosting the entire OS, lack of 5g hurts this and battery life sucks

Well appointed laptop for the home use for which it was purchased. Easy to use and lightweight with easy to read and see screen and icons.

Solid device. Highly recommend the 16gb RAM if you can afford it because the 8 GB does lag and crash when I use it for zoom or for note taking in class.

Everything I hoped it would be. Versatile, fast. Battery could last longer but otherwise very happy.
