I've been using this motherboard for quite some time now, and overall, I am very happy with it. Installation was straightforward, and I didn’t encounter any issues setting it up. It’s been running flawlessly since day one, and I’ve had no stability problems or crashes, which is always a good sign. The build quality feels solid, and the layout of the ports and connectors is well thought out, making cable management easy. I especially appreciate the ample expansion options, including PCIe slots and memory slots. The BIOS is user-friendly and offers plenty of customization options, allowing me to tweak settings without feeling overwhelmed. Performance-wise, it’s been smooth, whether I'm gaming, working on intense applications, or just general use. It handles everything with ease. The motherboard also supports the latest technologies, which helps future-proof my build. In terms of connectivity, everything I need is available, from USB ports to Ethernet, and the onboard audio works well without the need for additional sound cards. I also haven’t had any thermal or noise issues, even under load. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase. It’s a reliable, high-quality motherboard that does exactly what I need without any fuss. Pros: Solid build quality Easy installation Reliable performance with no issues Plenty of expansion options Great connectivity options Cons: connector pins are a bit small when connecting hard drive, power, reset connecters, wished they standardize it as one plug. If you’re looking for a motherboard that simply works and doesn’t give you any hassle, I highly recommend this one!

I’ve been using the MSI B550 Tomahawk Max WiFi motherboard for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. Setup was straightforward, and everything worked right out of the box with my Ryzen 7 5800X. The BIOS is easy to navigate and had no issues recognizing my RAM or GPU. Wi-Fi 6E has been super fast and stable, which was one of the main reasons I picked this model. The board also runs cool and has enough headers and ports for all my needs. Build quality feels solid too — definitely not cheap plastic like some other boards in this range. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a reliable B550 board with strong features and future-proof connectivity.

My original motherboard failed and I needed a quick replacement. This one was in my price range and readily available so I grabbed it as a temporary solution until I could get something better. It's a decent mid-range motherboard and it did what I needed it to do with little to no extras. Pros are that it holds up, works perfectly fine and has the ports you would expect of a b550 motherboard. Cons are there's no bifurcation as that's something I was looking for in a motherboard and was given the wrong info.

I have had it for almost a week now, it is a major improvement. A little bit of a pain with flashing the CMOS. I recommend going ahead and downloading the latest CMOS and putting it on a flash drive before you start your build. Follow instructions, It was pretty simple, but I read the instructions and issues before taking the old one apart. I did not upgrade that much, yet what I did made some dramatic changes. I had an MSI 450 PRO with a Ryzen 7 2700x processor. I switched to this B550 Tomahawk mainly because of the price and the M.2 (NVMe) slots. Being on a budget I used the 2700x from the B450M motherboard.. My system is this MSI - B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI with the Ryzen 7 2700x and 32 gig of Corsair P3600 RAM, Samsung - 990 PRO 2TB, and an MSI - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 3X graphics. My benchmark test went from the top 55% to the 86% I am posting a picture of. For me, it is a great motherboard for the price.

Perfect AM4 motherboard that doesn’t break the bank. This motherboard has enough USB ports to connect my keyboard/mouses/monitors/flash drive/mic and other usb accessories. The bios was up-to-date and I was able to use my Ryzen 5 5600 without any hassle. RAM comparability is also to-notch with this MSI motherboard allowing me to overclock my ram MORE than the advertised speeds. It has plenty of bandwidth to connect fast PCIE Gen4 drives and I got the full speed out of my Samsung 990 Pro. It also comes with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth to allow internet connection without Ethernet cable and to connect things like game controllers and headphones. Unfortunately I had to return this part with some other because I got an AMD GPU and it was crashing in games (nothing to do with the motherboard). I’d definitely recommend this motherboard for anyone that wants a well-built, feature rich and nice-looking motherboard for their next pc build.

I love this mobo. Looks great, has a lot of features, especially fan connections. I have always hated boards that only give you a couple of headers for fans and force you to use fan controllers. I like to have my fans monitored and controlled separately. There are only 2 usb headers but that's ok its enough to work with. Bios is easy to work with. Stays cool. Easy to overclock.

It was worth every penny. I ended up buying more than one because I am in love with the motherboards and their RGB display. The Wi-Fi is great, making this motherboard a perfect choice for future-proof gaming.

I got this motherboard after the one from amazon came in busted. It was at my best buy store and all I had to do was go and get it. When I got home it was easy to figure out where to put things (very well marked out fans, ssd, etc). This being my first pc I ever put together I was relieved when it turned on with its little LED working. I have no complaints and it works perfectly fine for what I do. (I.e. ffxiv, triple A gaming, with web site searching. Not really recording or anything). I was even asked if I got a new microphone at some point lol. Recommend this to anyone who needs a motherboard in a jiffy. Ignore my crappy wire management, it works and thats what I care about :)

MSI does it again! This motherboard upon setup has a couple of issues but they are completely outweighed by the pros. Cons. My Bluetooth has a hard time staying connected and to make matters worse the antennas that come with the motherboard are small and plug into the back of the PC. This makes it hard to get the antenna set up right so that you can get a clear path directly to your controller or headset. Makes it especially hard if you have it behind some monitors. Another issue I had with this motherboard was the drivers in general being a little finicky to install. I installed the Bluetooth drivers multiple times before it finally worked the last time I installed them. Not exactly sure why this is but I had to install all drivers and recommend doing the same thing even if you're not using it. Pros. After getting this computer put together at around 1:00 in the morning, I cued up about seven downloads while I messed with my windows settings as it was a fresh install. By the time I was done messing with my window settings half of the games had already been downloaded. When the steam servers weren't completely and utterly high traffic, I was getting around 700mbs+ consistently. This was never achievable with my gigabyte motherboard previously. This motherboard comes with a lot of SATA and USB ports, as well as two super high speed m.2 ports, And if you're using two m.2 ports you can also use the PCIEx1 slots for stuff like network cards (not really needed unless it's an upgrade compared to the chip in the MB) or USB hubs and such. The transfer and read speed on the m.2 slots is unreal. I was able to transfer a little under 30 GB game file in less than a second.
