Good for the price, but check for the screen.

Screen is big and it is bright. Quality is good, however, it produced a lot of heat. Screen gets warm after on for 30 minute or so. So I purchased two because after I received the first one I liked so much I ordered the second one. However, screen panel were yellow and dim with all identical settings were applied. So I am keeping one and hate to say but will return the other one soon.
Still go ahead and buy because you cannot beat the price and what you get.

good monitor for 1440p gaming, possibly the best price point for this spec as well , also being msi rather than a random chinesium brand is not bad either.

Its a great monitor. Only shortfall with my specific one, the backlight bleeds pretty bad in a dark room it can be quite noticeable. Its great for sim racing though, which is about all I use it for.

I'm afraid this is just too wide for a desktop monitor
Screen quality is great
Unfortunately when sitting in front of it, the flat screen appeared concave and the furthest sides of the screen appeared dimmer than the center section
Net, net I believe something this wide needs to be curved
A lot of features but not the sharpest most vivid.

We found the monitor a little washed out and text on documents too pixelated. All adjustments were made including using MSI's software tool and Windows font adjustment calibration. Exchanged for an HP Omni and was happy we did.

I bought this monitor in late November. I did research. Reviews were majority promising.
A few days ago it started having issues. I thought it was just related to my system being in sleep mode at first.
Nope.
It has issues. It was shutting on and off. As well as menu popping up and moving on its own. Yet it wouldn’t acknowledge when I pushed on the menu.
It’s out of the return period by 10days. I don’t buy bestbuy warranty because they’ve either NEVER honored it or they put up a huge fight, catch them lying etc etc. Online and in person. I’m not paying for disrespect.
I have other MSI products. They’ve gotten better (motherboard impressed me) so I decided to go with this monitor.
The warranty isn’t the best. To get to MSI customer support is a journey. It’s better than what it used to be, still messed up. I got unnecessarily bounced around a bit. Last person did guide me to the rma slip, so that’s good. I’m going to have to fork over some money to ship and who knows what else.
The rest of my monitors are LG. And has lasted years. Even through storages, homelessness etc. The main driving point on this for me wasn’t just the cost but the quality and LG is making some questionable decisions so I don’t know if I want to stick with their stuff.
I wouldn’t mind paying out twice the amount for a quality 40in instead of possibly half that and then another 100 and a bunch of time for
