Easy set up. Great paper instructions. App was helpful, step by step set up. I have for 10 years tried to purchase a non-dial thermostat. How nice will this be. Inwont know til winter but having heating bills over $200 a month becuase if i left it on and left the house for 12 hrs....I was just wasting money. Looks great too and fits in a normal socket, or electrical in wall box.

Used Mysa compatibility guide on their website. Installed myself with basic electrical knowledge. Now I have smart controls over forced fan heater in my home. Have been using with Google assistant, Alexa, and Apple homekit. Although bulky it has a great modern look. Smartphone control is super easy using Mysa app or your smart assistant app.

As technology continues to advance, smart thermostats have become all the rage...unless you were trying to control electric baseboard or similar heat. I have been searching high and low for the last couple of years and finally there's a solution. Say hello to the Mysa Smart Thermostat! This is THE smart thermostat for electric heating systems. The Mysa website provides a tool that confirms whether your electric system is supported. Once confirmed, it's time to replace that antique thermostat. The Mysa unit is a very modern looking thermostat with a flat glass display with no buttons or moving parts. It's a bit on the larger size, but is welcome as it perfectly covers the existing box and surround. In the box - Mysa Smart Thermostat, mounting screws / caps and a Welcome/Quick Start Guide. That's it, and that's all that is needed! Installation is listed as 15 minutes and that was just about what it took. The installation process is so straight forward. Always start by turning off the power to the existing thermostat, uninstall the existing 4 wire thermostat and make sure to connect the Mysa to the correct wires. The online app and the included guide walk through these steps. Mysa also provides tech support if needed. Mysa App - Once the new thermostat is connected, all you need to do is download the app, in my case from the Apple App Store. Create an account, flip the power back on and walk through the setup process. It's that simple! The Mysa also supports a number of voice assistants including Google Assistant, Alexa and other apps like IFTTT and Apple HomeKit. The touchscreen provides the essentials for controlling the temperature and the numbers and arrows are large and easy to read. The screen's brightness is adjustable within the App. There are a number of other setting that are adjustable in the App including Setpoint levels, Eco Mode, Button Locking, Scheduling, etc. Pros: - Easy installation and operation - Online App for control while not home - Modern look and design - Energy efficiency controls to help save money - Great App-based and online support if needed Cons: - So far I haven't found any in terms of setup, operation or build quality The Mysa Smart Thermostat is a perfect solution for updating older electric home heating. As electric heat can be very expensive, that ability to set schedules and manage the thermostat remotely are potential money-savers. The modern design and great build quality also update the look of your home. I've already had a number of compliments on the Mysa unit. I would recommend the Mysa Smart Thermostat to anyone with qualifying electric heat.

Wanted to bring our heater controls up to date and get rid of the old 1980's dial style. Love the fact that everything can be controlled wirelessly from anywhere with my phone through the app. Gives the ability to schedule when and what to turn the heat up or down to no matter whether I'm home or not. Saving on electricity turning the heat down at night and having it scheduled to turn up and warm up right before waking in the morning was a blessing to say the least as well as having it cut down while I was gone and having it warm by the time I got back to. It was super simple to set up as you can see by the picture it's only 3 separate wires and a few minutes to set up the app on your phone and you're good to go. The phantomed LED looks great on the crisp white panel. Bright or dimmed whatever your preference may be. and the numbers are big enough to see across tho room with ease. I loved the app. Everything was very plain and simple and had every possible feature I could ask for as far as controls for the system Would highly recommend to others looking to upgrade their out of date controls

Awesome unit! Looking for a smart thermostat that we could use for baseboard / force fan wall heater units for our vacation rental. We wanted to be able to turn off heat if guests left it on. We found this one and thought we would try it out by upgrading one of many thermostats. It was easy to install and sync up with our phones. It looks sleek too. It's great! We will be updating the rest of the rooms with this smart thermostat. Looking forward to cold weather now :)

Technically the Mysa product is good. It installed simply enough, though we did need to open the drywall a bit more to fit the larger V1 unit in the existing thermostat hole. It connects well with the software, controls are simple, works without the software when needed. No idea how long the device will work (it replaced a 50-year-old thermostat that was working fine, but no remote/wifi control). Giving it 4 stars only because they charge so much. With electric baseboard, every room has one or more units, and having to spend $120 per unit it WAY too expensive. If these were closer to the cost of a standard electric baseboard thermostat ($20), or even twice that, I would buy more. But I can't replace them all when their price is closer to the price point of whole-house thermostats where it's 1 and done. That's a big problem that will likely hold back this vendor. And their weakness / dependency was evident with a recent Amazon Web Services outage. Glad the manual controls still worked.

Fairly easy to install by following the directions. App was easy to program and to schedule our heating needs. Love the daily, weekly and monthly cost factors. My previous thermostat was not user friendly and noisy.

This thermostat was easy to install, easy to pair, and works well with Google. Only time will tell if it actually helps save me money on my electricity bill.

I am glad to find the solutiion to my old thermostat of electric baseboard heater. It changed everything and now I feel satisfied to have this Mysa product. Smart devices give you a comfort and saving of your bills. Strongly recommend!

This product was sent to me for the purpose of this review. I have been looking for a quality high voltage thermostat for a few years now. We live in an apartment that has electric baseboard and wanted something that was accurate and has wi-fi capabilities. This thermostat has fit perfectly. This is for use with only for electric heat using 120v or 240v. In the box you will find everything that you need to install it except hand tools and multimeter. I highly suggest having a meter on hand to aid in the installation. If you are uncomfortable with dealing with 120v or 240v your best bet is to hire a licensed electrician to install the thermostat. In the box, there are three wire nuts and two screws in a package to hookup and secure it to the electrical box. The only thing that I wish they included in the base is a bubble level to make sure it is on the wall straight. Also included is a detailed instruction manual, which is rare these days. The manual is quite easy to follow and understand. It is written in both English and French. Once I got it installed setting up the app was very intuitive. Simple to follow and detailed. The app is where this thermostat shines. Not only can you adjust the thermostat manually from the app, but you can also set up scheduling for home, away and vacation modes. It also allows you to monitor your homes temperature while away if your house has not lost power as it is always connected through the internet from your home. There are several options in the menu of the app. All of which are easy to understand. The one that impresses me the most is the Whole Home Energy option. This option allows you to look at how much energy you have used over the life of the thermostat. You can view it in month, week or day to see how hard the heat is working and how well the thermostat regulates the temperature. The app also can control several Mysa thermostats throughout your home as well as direct you to the Mysa web site for help and support. Another feature in the app is a small flame icon that has three areas that change color from gray (heat not heating) to orange (heat is running). The more heat that Is required the more areas are lit. I also like that you can set the brightness of the display is the app, so it is not obnoxiously bright at night when you walk through the room while half-asleep. This app must be one of the most user-friendly apps for Smart Home devices that I have ever used. As with other smart devices for the home this is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple Home and Google Home and can be controlled via voice commands. Having electric baseboard, there is a thermostat in every room to control the heat in each room. This can get pricey for converting from the conventional thermostats to smart thermostat. However, if the thermostats can reduce energy costs over the heating season, they will pay for themselves. Also, check with your energy provider as there may be rebates available for smart wi-fi thermostats.

So far I'm very pleased. For the past 5 years , all I've been able to do is manually turn some knobs and hope I'm hitting the correct temperature. Now , I can adjust to the degree and set a schedule and the Mysa appt takes care of reporting and everything else.

Really hard to get these installed in SF. Keep in mind these are for high voltage baseboard heaters. if you are in an older wiring setup - not can be difficult. Also, to be honest, the customer support at Mysa is definitely the bottom 5% I've ever experienced. They literally do not care if you keep these or not. Non response, just ignore support tickets. God Awful. Device looks good tho and woks as described so 2 stars.
