Solid modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this modem to replace my motorola SB6120 so I can take advantage of the higher Comcast speed tiers. The modem was relatively easy to setup on the Comcast/Xfinity network. The browser interface is not as stable as the older Motorola but it wasn't a big issue. The Netgear design isn't the best as vertical standing is the only position. It isn't really designed to lay flat. The high gloss plastic body gets smudges and scratches like you can't believe.

Great Modem that works with my Netgear router!

We went with the same brand for seamless use and were not disappointed. It's worth it to have a better modem and router with the high dollar fee we pay for quick internet access. Setup was easy!

Reasonably priced modem for cable

We already had a good router, so this was a good choice. So far it has performed well. Speed seems to be good, although we haven’t run any benchmarks to insure we are getting the speed Comcast claims we should get. We hope to get the TV hooked up soon, so we will see how streaming works. Overall, we are happy with the purchase.

I bought a Netgear router recently and it has performed well which led me to this modem. So far, it has worked flawlessly. Speeds have been at or better than advertised for my internet.
