Does its job

I went into the BestBuy store in my neighborhood without searching any reviews. Just wanted a modem that gets the job done, and perhaps will provide faster connection in pair with my decent router. I don't see any significant improvement with my internet speed. However, as I am not THAT tech savvy, perhaps I needed to do something more to make that happen.
