Very easy setup and works wonderfully with Orbi router.

When you add up the rental fees most cable companies charge, it get expensive quickly. Your best option is buying your own which will save money in the long run. So far no issues and I can’t complain about the performance. Do yourself a favor & give up paying extra every monand buy yourself a modem. Note, unless you have a higher tiered plan, you won’t need this model, there are less expensive options for those on slower plans. My only complaint is the price should be slightly lower.

Bought the NETGEAR CM600 High Speed Cable Modem to replace the rented modem from Comcast, this new modem installed easily and quickly, up and running in minutes, and what a noticeable difference (better) in connection quality and stability, this NETGEAR CM600 High Speed Cable Modem is much better and more stable!

This NetGear cable modem provides good data throughput and works well with Xfinity Internet service. The product was available at my local Best Buy and was easy to install using the included instructions.

I thought about buying a new combination modem router but after looking up the specs on my previously purchased Netgear router I was surprised to see this modem would meet my future needs for performance and speed. After installing the CM600 modem and running several speed tests I was surprised that it exceeded what I expected.

Easy setup. Paired it with a NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Mesh WiFi System. WiFi reception is excellent throughout our 2 story, 6,000 sq ft home extending coverage to our deck. Returned comcast equipment and saved a few bucks a month on rental fees. very pleased with both products.

Bought this to quit paying rental fee to my provider. Was told I would have to upgrade my plan to use this modem so I took it back and got the cheaper one which works perfect. I don't see why this wouldn't work well either since I bought same brand and no issues with the cheaper one.

I bought this to replace a Netgear all-in-one access point with the Intel Puma chipset. This performs so much better than that one ever did. Lag drops are almost non-existent, and the extra channels on the downstream and upstream side allow for future bandwidth improvements from the ISP.

This modem was simple to install and connect to my home network. When I bought, I decided to plan ahead for bandwidth growth. I had 50 mbps at the time of purchase but wanted to be prepared for any future bumps that got me closer to 1 mbps. Lo and behold, I got a bump from my provider to 200 mbps two weeks later.

I bought the lower model 5 years ago and it worked great so we decided to upgrade now that things are just not as good with the net in the house. Immediately noticed the improvement with no more buffering every 5 minutes. Highly recommend, especially if you have Comcast and aren't sure which model modem to purchase.

I upgraded my Spectrum cable internet service to the max speed available in my area (400Mbps). To get the higher speeds I had to upgrade my older Surfboard modem which maxed out in the 300's. With this modem I get 440Mbps consistently with no drops or T3/T4 timeouts! Love this thing!
