Had to get this to replace my modem/router combo unit that would not provide a strong signal for a 1400 sq ft house--but it has multi-levels, Once I purchased this item with another router, the signal is stronger--not perfect but better.

This product was easy to install and has caused no problems so far.

good product and is fast, only needed if you have purchased the fastest connection package offered by you internet provider, otherwise you can go down a model or two ... you need a router for this to work, btw ...

Overall size is good and working well. Would recommend instead of renting from comcast

I got the modem to prepare for future possibility of ghz internet. I have been using my own modem for several years, for time warner cable and now spectrum. Although Spectrum does not offer ghz internet in my area currently, my old modem was the 1st generation arris to offer faster connection to correspond with 300mbps. I upgraded due to a special sale that Best Buy price matched and it was well worth the additional consistency in speed. If this ever goes on sale again, for 50 or less, it is definitely worth the purchase. For those looking to end the need to pay for modem rental fees, this mode, is a great one to go with, without having to pay lose to 200 bucks.

We have the fastest Comcast service for internet and it was starting to give us problems - slow speeds and taking a long time to load, especially when streaming TV and movies. We don't have cable TV. Replaced the older modem with this one and it works great.

Needed a modem that would handle higher speeds and this little guy gets the job done. Low amount of heat released from the unit itself means efficient out put. Coupled this with the Netgear Nighthawk x6 r8000 tri-band router and BOOM! Monster difference in performance.

I had the Arris SB6141 for the past few years and it was OK until about 3 weeks ago. Every evening the cable modem would reboot. At first it was just once or twice during the evening, then it progressed to multiple times all day long. I called the cable company (metrocast) and the service tech replaced some connections outside of the house. It improved the signal and reduced the frequency of the cable modem reboots, but it still wasn't right. Looking at the cable modem logs always showed the same things--T3 timeouts. Decided to get a new cable modem and didn't want the same brand, so I bought this Netgear one. Plugged it in, called the cable company to give them the info needed, and now it's been up and running solid (no reboots) for the past 36 hours. I looked at its log and it is completely empty--which is good. Guess my old modem just bit the dust. So far this one has been flawless.

We needed a modem that supported our internet needs and this product does that.

For a modem that can hold my internet speed and not over heat or give me issues can’t complain all positive reviews on this! If you’re looking for a good router get this one highly recommended! Easy to install and update!

TWC notified me that I'm now eligible for 300 meg service, all I needed to do was upgrade my cable modem. Swapped this for the older Netgear one, Internet service came right up. Unit feels sturdy and typical Netgear high quality. Best Buy store pickup is the way to go!

Had an old modem, I thought would help to buy a new one with the latest technology,to handle the faster speed I was getting through comcast. It works great, I haven't had any interruptions and my Internet speed is a lot faster. Definitely worth the money.

I bought this to replace an older modem we had. The older one would periodically just cut the internet signal. Since upgrading I have not had that issue happen and I have not noticed any increase or decrease in speed. Overall it has been working well so far.

Bought this modem in order to upgrade my Cox internet service to 300 down/30 up. Pretty simple plug and play. It's been running continuously since the purchase with no issues what so ever. I had been using a Motorola Surfboard modem but had to replace it as it didn't have the horsepower to handle the higher speeds. Saving the modem rental fees and this thing will pay for itself in a couple of years.

Very fast, reliable modem that keeps working for years.

Purchased for Comcast 200/10 service. Previously had a SB6190 which while having more channels, tended to lag and accumulate errors after a few days. The Netgear on the other hand has been rock solid and no errors or lag. So far it has been a superior modem.

My husband works from home and we have a wireless TV setup so we needed faster/smoother wireless than we were getting with our cable company's modem. We purchased this in combo with a new separate router and things have been running quickly and smoothly now!

I've only had this item a short while. Seems like it has helped my internet run a bit smoother. I'm not on the computer much....but I do have about 6 devices connected wirelessly....and they all seem to have adequate connections and speeds.

Had the Motorola SB6120 for about 8 years. Upgrade my internet to 250mbps and the SB6120 didn’t do the job. Once I installed the CM600. My download went up to 296.34 mbps and my upload is 23.85 mbps. Best choice for what I need.
