Great modem for those with the cable service to take advantage of the speeds. Does NOT use the Intel Puma 6 chipset which has latency issues.

This modem does what it is supposed to do. I've never had any issues with it. The built in statistics page (192.168.100.1) that displays the downstream/upstream channels, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), power levels, etc. is fairly basic. It is a "snapshot in time" kind of report, and you can not view signal levels, SNRs, etc. over time. For the advanced nerds like me, you can find a Prometheus exporter on GitHub to regularly scrape the statistics page and log the data, and then display it in something like Grafana - I had to do this to prove to my internet service provider that the issues I was experiencing was nothing to do with anything on my end, but due to the congested/noisy signal that was coming in to my home from the node. For the not-so-technically inclined, this is good enough and will do everything you will need it to do.

Per many "internet" reviews I've seen they give top recommends to this model from Netgear, so far my experience has been great, easy setup with Spectrum. Seems solid!!

Pleased with the upload and download speeds we are getting. Our household has 10+ wi-fi devices and we are all able to use the service delivered through the modem without being knocked off.

This Netgear modem helped me so much when it came to replacing my old modem. Literally I sat for weeks trying to figure out why my connection wasn't getting distributed at the amount we were paying for and finally I decided to go and buy a new modem to see if it made any different. In this case it made a BIG difference. I was usually only getting 5-10 upload with my old modem that our provider gave us. But when I had installed this one, it made a world of difference in the right direction. Definitely suggest getting this modem if you're experiencing issues with your connection at home. Some troubleshooting was required to get proper speeds to all wired devices. Cat 5E cables did not provide the rated speeds, but cat 6 cables did. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

We upgraded to this model after a previous one was having trouble overheating. The improved internals in this seem much better and more reliable.

This is definitely a good modem. the only negative is that they give you an outdated Ethernet cable.

Set up was super easy. The main thing to keep in mind is to plug it into you computer directly rather than a router during the initial setup. After that you can do whatever you want!

This is a great cable modem, very easy to set up and it works great. On top of that it saves me $10 a month from renting a modem from Comcast. It will pay for itself in no time.

Bought this modem to work with my Comcast internet connection. I've had no issues, and noticed a significant boost to my internet speeds over the older Motorola modem I was replacing.

For over 2 years, I rented a modem/router from Xfinity for $11. per month. Sadly, I lived with a terrible, on and off internet connection. When I complained, I was told the signal was within spec so I had to live with the problem. Well, as a last resort, I returned the combo unit I was renting, and bought this modem and a router. WOW!! All of the signal issues and problems are gone! This modem works great with Xfinity (Comcast) and I have learned a lesson. I will never rent anything from a cable company that I am not absolutely required to rent (such as the cable box). I highly recommend this modem!
