Switch works great, I've used them before never fails.

Needed a small, easy to use unmanaged switch for a gaming setup. Have 2 other switches just like this throughout the house (we are a wired house for connectivity). Simple and effective. Haven’t tried to test port speeds yet…but no performance issues on end user devices, so no complaints.

Limited documentation but it really does not need it. I was reluctant to buy this as all the reviews I read on the internet sounded good but were clearly reviewed by people using tech jargon that I don't understand. I was worried about my doing the install and it not working or having to pay someone to install it.
It was idiot proof. Anyone can do this. It is truly plug and play.
I very highly recommend this product. It is a bargain!

Worked as expected and reduced the bottle neck on my home network nicely. Keep in mind that this works as a fanout of a home network router. So, I took the ethernet output port of my cable modem and placed it in one of the ports on this switch. I then placed the rest of my wired ports in the remaining ports of the switch. The cable modem's internal router handled the DHCP duties and managed the network both with in my wireless domain and this wired domain. it was real easy. No network experience required.
Just connect one port to your modem/router and the rest to your PCs, printers, TVs or whatever you want to connect via a ethernet cable.

Plugged it in, hooked up a couple ethernet cables, and it worked right out of the box! Gotta love a simple product that just does the job it's designed to do. Netgear has really made great strides in their products over the years and this thing is stellar. Highly recommended.
It’s a Netgear product, What else would you expect

As you would expect, this item is Net-gear.. It performs as expected, is very easy to use, has easy hookup instructions, it is in a very small footprint, therefore is easy place. This is the one to buy!

This product works very well. It's very fast and it was very easy to connect. I have 2 of them connected together and I haven't noticed any drop in speed from connecting directly to the modem or through these devices. I have 8 computers I'm running and it's great for what I need.

Five ports in a surprisingly tiny box. It's tiny, but also unexpectedly hefty. Looks, feels and performs like a cut above the normally expected quality. I'm very pleased. No performance issues or installation issues, and I don't have any reason to expect any issues later on. A nice little hassle-free problem solver.

The review is actually on BestBuy as they were fantastic in the return process. Nothing was wrong with the product, I never opened it as I bought the wrong item but BestBuy was easy to work with as always

I swear by Netgear network devices. I have one of these already in use, now I'm adding two more to our Network. In addition, I have three GS-108 Netgear Gigabit Switches as well. These switches are durable, and long lasting. I've had the GS-108 devices the longest, NONE have ever burned out, nor stopped working. The one GS-105 in use currently has been going strong for over three years, now. I'm hoping the additions of these two GS-105 units will prove as long lasting and as durable. I HIGHLY recommend Netgear switches!

Oh man should’ve thought of this a lot sooner. Was able to hard wire tv, pc, and Xbox in the entertainment center with ease. Not noticeable and no lag or streaming issues. Plug and play.

I don't have much knowledge of networking solutions, but it doesn't get easier than this. I have an ether net connection from my router plugged into this and then connected my Philips Hue hub and a desktop workstation and everything has worked flawlessly and receives a full speed internet connection.

Purchased this to replace an older ethernet switch in our business. Works as expected. Plug and play without any issues. Speeds are as fast as they are directly from our modem.

I needed more Ethernet ports than my new wireless modem had do I bought the Netgear 5 port switch. Installation was a breeze and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is a nice compact size. I highly recommend it.
