We'd just gotten Google Fiber but we had two tv boxes and two computers which meant the network box wasn't going to be enough, so we needed a gigabit switch. This was that only one available so we bought it. It was extremely easy to set up and we get the same speeds we would if we were connected to the Google Fiber network box.

I haven't found any problems with this product. Sets up as is was described, performs as described, and has multiple ports. Blends in with all of the flashing products that is today's technology. Bought it because I did not want wireless for these products.

Bought this NETGEAR 5-Port Switch to go with my NETGEAR Modem and replace my WiFi unit. Have Ethernet connected to PC, XBOX ONE, XBOX ONE X, and a BLU-RAY. All of these units work great without lagging. Hard wired is so much better than WiFi. Price and quality are great!

Excellent switch for when you dont have enough ethernet cables for your devices. This works well for those that prefer wired connections. No issues to speak of on this. It's also very small. Just plug it in and it just works.

the switch does what I bought it for- connects several devices to the primary switch at gigabit speeds. the form factor is smaller than the picture would suggest.

No setup hardware needed, just plug anf play. If you need a boost to your current connection or need a few extra ports this baby does the trick. Purchased two because we were not able to get network jack terminated in time due to covid

An essential part of my Mac Mini home music/photo server. I needed to expand my wired ethernet jack into 2 streams feeding the Mini and our PC. So easy, just plug in and it works. Instantly met my needs 100%

This is my second NETGEAR - 5-Port 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Unmanaged Switch that I bought for adding in more connections in my office. I mainly use it to connect to other computers and laptops I'm working on. It works flawlessly and it's priced just right.

Fast speed and easy set up with app that has great updates that are regularly improving functionality of the product. We actually bought three of these to improve wifi speeds in a very large square footage. We were able to sync all of them together. Who needs IT support when setup is so easy!?!

Using this to have direct line vs wi-fi for my internet TV and Xbox. Trying to maximize speed. Since installation I have not seen the ‘circle of download wait’ for Netflix— performance has been greatly improved. Was very easy to install

This switch by NETGEAT is easy to setup and provides high value speeds to any the device that's directly connected to the ethernet cable. Highly recommend it for those that need more than 1 direct ethernet connection at high download/upload speeds.

We had a lightning storm that took out a couple of our network switches. Normally use Cisco, but Best Buy only had one Cisco so I bought one each. The Netgear was easy to set up and worked great. It also cost a little less. I would buy it first over the Cisco if I needed another one.

I got this when I changed to Xfinity TV and internet service and on their website it listed this and one of the switches that worked with Xfinity's system but neither the installing tech at the house or tech service at Xfinity could make it work. They kept on until it was past the point that I could return it to Best Buy, but that's no fault to Best Buy and this is a good switch because I gave it to my neighbor who is using it with her ATT Uverse service.

What can I say? It's a Gigabit switch. It switches. It is compact, about the size of a smartphone, and it only has 5 ports, which is all I needed. Actually I only needed 3 but this was as low as I could find. It's very festive looking as it sits on my desk with its flashing green lights.

We just recently got an Xfinity gigabit router, which somehow only had two ethernet ports! With this unmanaged switch, we were able to increase our number of ethernet ports so all of the roommates could have a piece of the awesome internet. Great product!

i switched my wireless setup which caused me to need a switch. I went to buy another one, but it had the inputs facing forward which I didn't like. Decided to try this one and it did not disappoint. Small, stylish, and very easy to setup.
